Content ㉮ It means to do evil things without thinking back and forth even though you know you will be devastated by going crazy or experiencing greater shame and damage.
Saints should not live like this. Saints must live good lives. How can we live good lives in this evil world?
1. A believer must know that he is a man created in Christ Jesus for good works (Ephesians 2:10).
2. The saints must discern what God's good will is (Romans 12:2).
3. The saints must seek good works (Romans 12:17).
4. Do not be deceived by evil companions (1 Corinthians 15:33).
5. You must earn money with your own hands to do good. (Ephesians 4:28)
6. We must discern what is extremely good. (Phil. 1:10)
7. We must long for good works (1 Timothy 3:1).
8. You must have a good conscience (1 Peter 3:16).
9. We must strive for good works. (Titus 3:8)
10. We must pray for perfection in good works (Hebrews 13:21).
11. You must be nurtured in good doctrine (1 Tim. 4:6).
12. We must fight to live a good life. (1 Tim. 6:12)
The Bible says, "He who does good belongs to God, and he who does evil does not see God." (3 John 1:11)
Of course, the good works that the Bible speaks of are not simply ethical. It includes an ethical aspect, but the spiritual aspect is the core of it.
Faith in Jesus: Receiving Jesus, repentance, attending worship, loving, hope, evangelism, prayer, mission, education, nurturing, counseling, relief, service, honesty, obedience, loyalty, discernment, spiritual warfare, separation, unity, meekness, humility Be patient, be grateful, rejoice, etc. These are all the things the Bible tells us to do.
If we are weak believers, we must be people who strive for all these good things. If you think about this important question in words, the answer is easily given. That is, you must live for good works.
