Title: Salvation and Judgment

"Salvation and Judgment"

-Victorious Mount Zion Church (1)

Revelation 14:1

The central mission of the book of Revelation is to reveal the final victory of Jesus Christ and his church (saints).

Now, we are in the midst of a revelation that took place after the seventh angel blows his trumpet (Rev 11:15) and before the seven bowl plagues (Rev 16:1-21).

It was to eat the little book and the book (Revelation 10). As a result of eating that book, he fulfilled his mission as a witness, was killed, and saw the final victory of being alive again (Rv 11).

It was the beast rising from the abyss that drove the church into suffering. His stage of activity was the world, the great city road called Sodom and Egypt (Rev 11:7-8).

In Revelation chapters 12 and 13, the identity of the beast is clearly identified and the identity of the witness is revealed again.

The beast was the great red dragon (Satan), the power of atheism (the hegemon of the world), the false prophet (usual religion), 666, and Babylon.

Jesus Christ was victorious in this terrible red christianity, and his church (group) and the remnant of the church, that is, the remnant of the woman (individual), are the testimony of Jesus, God's commandments, faith and patience, wisdom to count 666, idol It was said that victory was achieved through the incision of faith that did not worship him.

Revelation 10 is the introduction. This book was the experience of the Word, that is, the gospel experience, salvation experience, and Jesus experience (small book).

Chapters 11 to 12 of Revelation are the main body of the Red Christian, the enemy of Jesus, the enemy of the truth, and the enemy of the church.

Revelation 14 is also the conclusion of this section.

That is, the church of Jesus Christ must have the final victory (Revelation 14:1-5). And the great red dragon and its followers will be judged (Rev 14:6-20).

Therefore, this part can be said to be a shortened version of the entire process of Revelation.

1. The Victorious Mount Zion Church (Salvation, Revelation 14:1~5)

1) It is a church led by the Lamb.

Revelation 14:1 says, “And I saw the Lamb standing on Mount Zion… ' he said.

Who is the Lamb here?

For those Israelites, the Passover lamb was a symbol of liberation. It was a sign of liberation from slavery in Egypt. Not only that, it was a means of liberation. Those who applied the blood and those who were in it were saved and left Egypt.

In particular, the book of Revelation repeatedly repeats the words of Jesus as the Lamb.

‘Mount Zion’ in the text means heaven. It is the place of the one and only sublime God in the singular. It is said that the Lamb is standing on Mount Zion. Instead of saying, ‘Jesus Christ is standing,’ he said, ‘The Lamb is standing on Mount Zion.’

What does it mean?

“The Lamb stood on Mount Zion.”

(1) It means the victory of Jesus Christ.

In the book of Revelation, the repeated use of the word Lamb of Jesus is used in two cases.

One is the meaning of the Lamb as a sacrifice, the Lamb that was slain. This signifies Christ's sacrifice, anguish, tears, sweat, and death.

Another case is the meaning of an honorable victory. The word “Lamb” was used to represent the King of Victory, the Angel of Victory, and the Lord of Victory.

In this case, it refers to the victory of Jesus Christ. It means he is the one to be glorified.

(2) It means that Jesus Christ is the center.

In the realm of Satan in this world, the great red dragon became the center.

But on Mount Zion, Jesus Christ is the center. Revelation 5:6 says that the Lamb is in the center of the throne.

(3) It means that Jesus Christ is glorified and worshiped.

it sure is

In the new heavens and the new earth, that is, the kingdom of heaven, we have Jesus Christ as our King and give him all praise, worship, and glory. This is one of the themes of the book of Revelation (Revelation 5:8-14). For there are only those who have been redeemed by the blood of the Lamb. Because He bought us from our sins with His blood and made us a kingdom and priests before God (Rev 5:9-10).

(4) It means that Jesus Christ reigns.

The Lamb Jesus Christ is the only one who can exercise the dominion of history. Because Christ alone was worthy to open the book sealed with the seven seals in the right hand of God and read it (Revelation 5:5-6).

Therefore he stood among the four living creatures and the elders.

He was on the throne, and he stood on Mount Zion. It means that he has been given unlimited dominion.

He is the eternal King of Mount Zion. He is the eternal sovereign.

(5) It means that Jesus Christ lives forever.

It is the truth that He lives forever and ever (Revelation 1:18). This shows that He is the One who executes eternal judgment on the wicked, and the One who guarantees eternal salvation for the saints. His standing on Mount Zion is our eternal faith, hope, and love.

He is the eternal ruler of the eternal royal capital.

2) It is a church only for believers (144,000 people).

In Revelation 14:1, it says again, “And I saw, and behold, a Lamb standing on Mount Zion, and fourteen and forty-four thousand standing with him… ' he said.

(1) It is said that there were four hundred and forty-four thousand standing with him.

This is a generic term for the saints who have been saved during the century. Mount Zion is a place that only the saved saints can reach. ‘With him… The word 'standing' is really meaningful.

They also lived with Jesus in this world. They lived with the commandments of God and the testimony of Jesus. He did not live with the devil and the world. Because of that - for not living with the world and the devil in the world, but for living with Jesus - those who suffered and shed tears of sorrow, persecution, and pain.

They are people who are immortal in human rights violations, wasting family income, breaking up with their families and even death.

Those who loved to roam with the Lord so much were finally standing with the Lord in Zion.

Doesn't this mean the eternal victory, eternal satisfaction, eternal life, and eternal blessings of the saints?

There is clear evidence that they were with you in the world, and they

① I kept the commandments (words) of the Lord.

② He lived with the Church, the body of the Lord.

③ He carried the cross that was given to him.

④ He thought, spoke, and acted according to the will of the Holy Spirit, the Spirit of God and the Spirit of the Son.

⑤ I always prayed to live in the grace of the Lord.

⑥ I loved souls in the name of the Lord. They made disciples (the people) who followed the Lord while preaching and teaching them the gospel.

⑦ They lived hoping that the time they died in the world would be the time to meet the Lord.

Therefore, there are no unbelievers in heaven.

Those who are with the Lord are all saints. It is truly Christian heaven.

Here in the church on earth, there are believers and there are members. Believers are those who will stand with the Lord on Mount Zion. But some of the so-called church members cannot stand with the Lord on Mount Zion. Because the earthly battle church has its place in the world. Because it is a place (field) where tares and wheat grow together.

However, Mount Zion (Heaven) is a world where only saints exist. There are no unbelievers It may not exist, but even if there is, it is a place where they cannot live.

(2) The 144,000 are those who have the sign of salvation.

Revelation 14:1 says again, “… On his forehead was the name of the Lamb and the name of his father written.”

What is the sign of their salvation?

The names of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit were engraved on them. It was the name of the Triune God.

① Whose name is it?

It is the name of the Father.

In Revelation 14:1, it says, "His father's name is written on his forehead."

This is the creator's name. In other words, it tells us that the saints are creatures created by God. Man is never a product of chance. It is a precious divine product.

The sign of salvation is creation.

In Revelation 14:1, it is said that “the name of the Lamb was on his forehead.”

The Lamb's name is Jesus. It is a sign of salvation soon. This is the sign that Jesus Christ redeemed me.

It is the name of the Holy Spirit.

Ephesians 1:13-14 says, “In him you also heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation, and believed in him, and were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise, which is the guarantee of our inheritance, redeeming what we have obtained. to the praise of his glory.”

Ephesians 4:30 says, “Do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, in whom you were sealed until the day of redemption.”

The sign of salvation is the sealing of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is the one who carries out and fulfills our salvation in the field.

Therefore, those who have the sign of salvation are those who have the name of the Triune God engraved on them.

② Where is the name engraved?

Revelation 14:1 says, “The name of the Lamb and the name of its Father were written on his forehead.”

The forehead is a symbol of character. Also, a name is a pronoun of personality. The fact that the name of the Triune God is written on the foreheads of the saints means a personal seal.

It is an act of signing and sealing the living God.

③ What does it mean?

The name of the Triune God engraved on the forehead means to seal. Sealing means

It is God's act of showing his own possession.

The 144,000 is a word that indicates that only God's special possessions are made.

It is a symbol of a new identity.

It is a mark of unchanging promises.

The seal of the living God means that its effect is eternal, unchanging, and the same.

It is the sign of the ultimate salvation of the saints.

The seal power of the living God is in effect forever. No one can erase or invalidate the name.

This is the sign of the ultimate salvation of the saints.

This is a mark indicating absolute safety guarantee.

The name of the Holy Trinity is a sign that the saints are guaranteed safety in the challenge of 666.

Those who receive the seal of God's name are guaranteed absolute protection against any challenge from any beast.

Those who have received the mark of Jesus Christ are protected until the end of the world (Matthew 28:20), to the end (John 13:1), not to lose anything (Luke 15:4), and not to be touched by the evil one (1 John 5:18). are receiving

It is also a sign of gender.

That is to say, the 144,000 are a sign that they do not have the mark of 666, that is, the mark of the beast. It is a sign of becoming a child of God and a sign of becoming a new person (2 Corinthians 5:17, Gal. 6:17).

It is a sign of absolute loyalty to God.

Loyal soldiers always wear the mark of their commander on their body. This is a sign of his affiliation and at the same time showing his loyalty to him.

It is also a sign whose name is written in the book of life.

We have read and heard many times in the book of Revelation that the names of the 144,000 people are written in the Lamb's book of life (Rev. ).

It is also a sign of citizenship that does not perish but has eternal life.

The problem is that the Church of Mount Zion, the Church of Victory, the Church of Heaven, and the 144,000 members of the Church have the decisive sign of salvation on their foreheads.

It is the name of the Triune God engraved on their foreheads.

This distinguishes them from the people of the beast who received 666.

It is indeed a sign of blessing. It is a sign of glory. It is a sign of life, a sign of pride and happiness.
