Title: Salvation as God's Gift //
Content 1. Words that begin
As you can see, everything we have and enjoy is God’s grace, and our life that we enjoy all of it is a gift from God the Creator. Everything, including ourselves, is the grace of God, but there is a special grace that cannot be compared with all that grace. Those who do not receive this special grace do not think of God's grace for all the gracious gifts that God has created, including life and Mother Nature, and therefore do not know how to be grateful. Rather, they complain about everything and everything, and even resent the fact that they are alive.
Therefore, the most important thing for all people of all walks of life is to receive God's special grace. This special grace, needless to say, is salvation, a gift from God in Jesus Christ.
2. God's Great Love
The Bible prescribes that all human beings before salvation are spiritually dead because of their sins and transgressions, and that they are children of wrath under the control of Satan. It testifies that God, who is rich in mercy, has shown tremendous love to such mankind. That is, according to the plan of eternal love, He sent His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ, as a propitiation sacrifice to save mankind from destruction. Jesus Christ gave up divine equality and all heavenly glory to give spiritual life to those who, according to God's will, were living the life of the dead under sin, suffered all kinds of pain and insults, and ultimately sacrificed the precious divine life.
Everyone, please believe that the love that sacrifices all the divine glory and divine life of Christ, who is equal to the Creator and Absolute God, is the great love that encompasses eternity and the universe.
It is because of this great love that God raised us, who were dead in our trespasses, together with Christ. Therefore, those who believe in the saving love of God revealed in Christ, that is, those who are united with Christ who died on the cross for our sins and rose from the dead become new people who enjoy new life. 2 Corinthians 5:17 says, "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has passed away; behold, the new has come."
God's saving love did not end with allowing us, who were dead in our sins and trespasses, to enjoy new life. Verse 6 says that He raised us up together and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus. Since the event of Christ Jesus “with,” that is, crucified, risen and ascended into heaven, also happened to the Christian united to him by faith, the Christian was not only raised with Christ, but was also seated with him in heaven. This is something that will happen in the future, but it is treated as already done by faith. Philippians 3:20 says that only our citizenship is in heaven.
Therefore, those who believe in Christ are citizens of heaven whose life is hidden in God with Christ, and must live according to the standards of heaven and the word of God, not just the customs or laws of this world. "I have been crucified with Christ, and it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life I now live in the flesh is faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me." We live in it” (Galatians 2:20).
The words so far can be compared to simple grafting. When a branch is cut and grafted onto another tree, the branch is completely cut off from the tree it shared life and death with, and the new tree that has been grafted to the end will share the same fate. Please believe that we are all spiritually united with the Lord.
The purpose of God's purpose in making us who believe in us alive together with Christ, raising us up and setting us down in heaven, that is, in his mercy to us in the Lord, is that he may reveal his exceedingly abundant grace to the generations to come.
Regenerated people, I hope that you will show God's abundant grace even to unbelievers through your appearance with the Lord and your words and deeds that imitate the Lord. I hope that your life itself becomes a evangelistic mission.
But she was on the second floor when the big accident that the Sampoong Department Store collapsed occurred. A lot of people were pushed toward the front door in a group, but in the dark, a bright light shone from the opposite side of the front door, and a young man said with a strong voice, "Go to that emergency exit," and pointed with his finger, then disappeared. it's more So, in the dark, he went out to the side where he could see the light and came back to life, and it is said that all those who went out to the front gate died.
On the second basement floor, her car was not damaged, and the driver was still intact.
After experiencing such a miracle, he immediately called his friend Dr. Kim OO and said, "I will evangelize the rest of my life and live only for Jesus."
3. Salvation of faith through grace
Even faith in Christ, the means of salvation, is not an arbitrary human decision, but a gift of God's grace. Whether it be an act of the law, a conscientious act, a religious act, or any human act, works cannot save us. Because of God's grace, we have come to believe in Jesus as our Savior and have been saved through that faith, so we have nothing to boast about. As a creature, man cannot save himself. Everyone, I hope you believe that salvation, the greatest grace, is a gift from God.
The purpose of God's new creation of us who believe in the Lord with the truth of the Gospel is that we may do the good works that were previously prepared in Christ. Therefore, the important thing is that as a saved person, you must live a life that imitates the Lord. Doing good in the Lord is never easy. However, Galatians 6:9 says, "Let us not grow weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not grow weary."
4. Conclusion
We who were spiritually dead because of our sins and transgressions, God made us citizens of the kingdom of heaven by raising us to life together with the Lord who atoned and resurrected us. Now that you realize that even faith, the way of salvation, is a gracious gift of God, I earnestly pray that you will live your life doing good works in the Lord as citizens of the kingdom of heaven who receive tremendous grace and love.
