Title: Salvation is only through mercy!!!
Contents
Compassion is caring with compassion. It is His abundant mercy and His great love that God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son so that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life. There is warmth and brightness in true light. Therefore, warmth and light are inseparable.
As it is written, “God, who is rich in mercy, through the great love with which he loved us, made us alive in Christ Jesus, who were dead in trespasses (by grace you have been saved)” (Ephesians 2:4-5). will be This rich warmth and great brightness made us alive, who were dead because of our sins. This is true salvation. Therefore, salvation comes through God's abundant mercy and great love, not through righteous deeds performed by man.
The Bible says, “He saved us, not because of the works of righteousness we have done, but according to his mercy, through the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit, who has poured out the Holy Spirit abundantly on us through our Savior Jesus Christ, so that we that by grace you may be justified, that you may become heirs according to the hope of eternal life. These words are faithful. I pray you, speak firmly about these things, so that those who believe in God may be careful to work hard for good. This is beautiful and beneficial to men. ' (Titus 3:5-8), God will surely seek mercy again for those who have received mercy through Christ Jesus.
There is no one in this world who can be saved by the righteous works of man. It is testified, “As it is written, There is none righteous, not even one; there is no one who understands, there is no one who seeks God; all have turned aside, one way has become useless; there is none who does good, not even one. Their throats are an open grave, and with their tongue they practice deceit, and with their lips a viper. poison, and their mouths are full of curses and bitterness, and their feet are swift to shed blood; destruction and trouble are in their way, and they have not known the way of peace, and there is no fear of God before their eyes. Knowing that whatever the law says, it speaks to those who are under the law, so that every mouth may be closed and the whole world may be brought under the judgment of God” (Romans 3:10-19).
Therefore, the Son, who was sent into the world to accomplish the will of God, the mercy and love of the Father, in men himself, said, “Go and learn what this means, ‘I desire mercy, not sacrifice. No, I have come to call sinners...” (Matthew 9:13). The will of God the Father, who sent His Son into the world as a human to save us from our sins, is His abundant mercy and great love.
Regarding this, the Bible says, “And you, who were dead in your trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh, God raised up with him, and forgave us all our sins, and blotted out the deeds written in the ceremonies which are against us and which are against us, and take them away. 4 He nailed it to the cross, stripping away principalities and authorities, revealing them publicly, and triumphing over them on the cross” (Colossians 2:13-15).
Regarding this salvation, the Lord spoke in parables, saying, “Therefore, the kingdom of heaven is like a king who tried to make an account with his servants. When he was accounting, he brought in a man who owed him ten thousand talents, and he had nothing to repay. Then the servant fell on his face and worshiped him, saying, “Be patient with me, I will pay you back.” So the servant’s master had compassion on him and let him go and forgave him the debt. He grabbed his neck and said, "Pay the debt." The officer fell on his face and begged, saying, "Be patient with me, and I will repay you." But he did not allow it, and went and put him in prison so that he could pay the debt. When it was all done, the master called him and said, "Evil servant, I forgave you all your debt because of your prayer. Shouldn't you have compassion on your brother-in-law just as I have had compassion on you?" The master was angry and repaid the debt. So will my heavenly Father do the same to you, unless you forgive your brother in the center of each one of you” (Matthew 18:23-38).
What we need to know clearly here is that these words, “the master of the servant took pity, let him go and forgave him the debt,” is the expression of God's abundant mercy. It is the great love of God who loved the world so much that He forgave all debts to those who had no debt to repay. Regarding this, the Bible says, "...so great salvation..." (Hebrews 2:3), and it is also recorded that "God has put all people in disobedience, so that he may have mercy on them all." (Hebrews 2:3) He did it” (Romans 11:32).
This salvation is Christ, the mystery of God, who wants to make known to the world His abundant mercy and His great love. Therefore, it is written, “He made known to us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure and foreordained in Christ for the dispensation of the fulness of times, that all things in heaven and on earth might be united in Christ” (Ephesians 1:9). -10) It is the same as Hashim. Therefore, eternal life is to know the only true God and Jesus Christ whom he has sent. That is why the Bible says, “You will know the truth, and the truth will set you free” (John 8:32).
However, if this abundant mercy and great love exists only in God and does not exist in the saved children of God, then they are not God's true children. Therefore, salvation with only “ten thousand talents” and without “one hundred denarii” is not true salvation. This is just as he said, “I forgave you all your debts because I begged you. Shouldn’t you have compassion on your brother-in-law just as I have compassion on you?” In true salvation, “the law of faith,” that is, “faith that works by love” And there is also a “new commandment.”
Therefore, it is written, “To those who show no mercy there will be judgments without mercy, for mercy triumphs over judgment” (James 2:13), and the Lord Himself said, “He who has my commandments and keeps them is the one who loves me. He will be loved by my Father, and I will love him and reveal myself to him” (John 14:21).
To the children who have received mercy and love, the Bible says, “Therefore, let us come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need” (Hebrews 4:16). Wait for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life” (Jude 1:21).
Therefore, true salvation does not come according to the works of man, but only through God's abundant mercy and His great love. As it is written, “It is by grace you have been saved, through faith, and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God” (Ephesians 2:8).
“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to his abundant mercy has begotten us again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, to an inheritance that is incorruptible and undefiled and that does not fade away, for you reserved in heaven” (1 Peter 1:3-4) Amen, thank you Lord.
