Title: Salvation is to be one with Christ
Contents
Christ, the mystery of God, was sent into the world to fulfill God's will to find the lost halves. Therefore, salvation means finding the other half and becoming one.
Christ was sent to this earth for the will of God to unite the halves into one. Therefore, when he came into the world, he said, “Look, O God, I have come to do your will, as it is written in the scroll of me…” (Hebrews 10:7).
As it is written in the Bible, “...for the purpose of his good pleasure, he gives you the will to do” (Philippians 2:13), the will of God is that he wants Christ, who is one with himself, to become one with men. In order to fulfill God's will to remove (the cross) the body of sin, the flesh that hinders unity, Christ sent Christ into the world in the form of sinful flesh, and also condemned the sin of the flesh to die along with the halves lost on the cross will be
The will of this secret was already fulfilled in heaven before the foundation of the world. Therefore, the Bible testifies that "...your will be done on earth as it is in heaven" (Matthew 6:10).
What has been accomplished in heaven is what the Lord Himself said, “Father, glorify me now with you by the glory that I had with you before the foundation of the world” (John 17:5), and “I have given them the glory that you have given me. Because we are one, so that they may be one” (John 17:22).
The oneness of God and Christ is that “just as the Father has life in himself, so he also gave life to the Son so that he may have it in him” (John 5:26), and who testifies, “...I want you to know. ... The head of Christ is God” (1 Corinthians 11:3). As it is written, the head of Christ is God, so God and Christ are one. This was already done before the foundation of the world.
If we divide the human body in two, we can divide it into a head and a body. Also, if a couple is divided into two, they are divided into male and female. This is the shadow of the true thing seen in the world. Since these things are clearly visible in all things, no one has any excuses.
It's easy for the two to become one. Each one throws away his half. It was revealed that Christ was one with God, that God the Head made Christ his body, and Christ gave up his head (his will) and worked only as the body of God according to the will of the Father. This is God's will done in heaven. The body obeys to death if the head wants it. It is the same as it is written, “And being found in human form, he humbled himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of a cross” (Philippians 2:8).
According to this will, now Christ is also sitting at the right hand of the Father's throne until he has accomplished all that he is one with us and put all things under his feet.
Now the work of unity is done by another Counselor, the Spirit of Truth. Therefore, it is written, “Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace” (Ephesians 4:3).
The secret that accomplishes this is the proof of “half shekel”. It is written, “He gave himself as a ransom for all, and he will testify when the time comes” (1 Timothy 2:6).
It is written in the sutras, "When you number the children of Israel, when you number them, you shall give the ransom of each person who is numbered to the Lord, so that there will be no pestilence among them when you number them. Everyone who is numbered goes to the sanctuary. You shall pay half a shekel by shekel: a shekel is twenty gerahs, and half a shekel shall be given to the LORD, and all who are numbered among them, who are twenty years old or older, shall give to the LORD, and give it to the LORD for your life, and you shall be rich, half a shekel. “Do not pay more from Esau, nor less because you are poor, and you shall take a ransom from the children of Israel, and use it for the service of the tabernacle of meeting, and it shall be a memorial to the children of Israel before the Lord, and your lives shall be redeemed” (Exodus 30:12-16). “Ransom” is “half a shekel,” that is, half.
The reason that Christ gave this “redemption”, that is, half a shekel, for everyone, is to do God’s will to find the “redemption” that is now combined with him, that is, half a shekel, to make one shekel.
"When they came to Capernaum, those who received half a shekel came to Peter and said, "Does your teacher not pay half a shekel?" And he said, "I do." When he entered the house, Jesus said to him first, "Simon, what do you think? Is it your own son or another? Peter said to him, "It is from another." Jesus said, "The sons will be exempted from the tax. But lest we misunderstand them, you go into the sea and throw a fish, and take the first fish and put it on." If you open it, you will get a shekel of money, take it and give it for me and you” (Matthew 17:24-27).
No matter how much you lean on the bosom of the Lord in the flesh, you cannot become one with the Lord. He came in the flesh to get rid of the sinful body that could never be one in the flesh. Therefore, in order to become one, there must be the death of the cross that destroys the body of sin.
One is not by the flesh. only by spirit. Therefore, “He that is united to the Lord is one spirit” (1 Corinthians 6:17).
Therefore, He said, "...If any man would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow me" (Luke 9:23). This path is the path to becoming one with him.
It is the same as saying, “If we have become united in the likeness of his death, we shall also be united in his resurrection” (Romans 6:5). This is the great secret that “two become one flesh”.
Christ gave himself up to become one body with us, and we lay down our heads for Christ's sake. So the two are joined to form one body. This is the great mystery of God in which Christ and the church, that is, a man (Christ) and a woman (the church) become one.
It is written, “I have been crucified with Christ, and it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.” (Galatians 2:20) As evidenced, I was crucified with Christ so that the two might become one flesh. That he laid down his body for me and I also my head for Christ's sake, and now God raised us up with Christ, not as two bodies, but as one spirit (a spiritual body), and now Christ is my head. Theo I became the body of Christ.
“How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news, who proclaim peace, who bring good news, who proclaim salvation, who say to Zion, Your God reigns!” (Isaiah 52:7) Amen.
Therefore, from now on, if I live, I will be Christ, and if I die, I will be Christ. Lord! How can you put it all into words? Because we are still in debt to the flesh, we can only say thank you because the Lord was in the flesh. Lord! Thank you.
