“Be steadfast in prayer, and be watchful in prayer with thanksgiving. Also pray for us, that God may open the door for us to preach, that we may tell the mystery of Christ; for this I have been bound. Then I will reveal this mystery with the words I ought to say. Save time by acting wisely toward strangers. Let your words always be with grace, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how you ought to answer each one.”
Introduction - Starting today, three times a day, we will deliver the word about evangelism ahead of the Invitation Week of Happiness on October 28th. I tell church members that if there is one thing that they feel most burdened and hate to do in their religious life, they almost always say evangelism. It means that you have a lot of burden for evangelism. That is why those who are good at evangelism stand out from other ministries. So, what should I do to do well in evangelism?
First, there must be an impression and a thrill of salvation.
Second, we must pray (verse 2).
Third, you must know the reason for your existence (verse 2b).
Fourth, we must have confidence (verse 4).
