Salvation, peace, health ② (Mark 5:25~34)
I. Suffering from an illness for a long time (25) Ⅱ. The doctor does not help him (26)
Ⅲ. Hearing of Jesus’ Rumors (27) Ⅳ. Patient’s Faith (28) Ⅴ. Healing History Appears (29)
Ⅵ. Jesus' Question (30~33)
①Jesus wants fellowship with humans (30, 31)
Jesus knew that healing power had gone out of him and that someone had touched his clothes. This shows that Jesus' purpose was not to heal the sick, but to save mankind. You want to build lasting relationships with people and have fellowship with them. No matter what relationship we meet, believe, or fulfill our wishes, we hope that you will maintain the grace you have received from fellowship with the Lord and enjoy continuous pleasure in fellowship.
② He wants a testimony of faith (32,33)
Jesus is looking for a woman. It is only so that she can have the right faith through personal encounters with the healed person (verse 30). This shows that Jesus has a deep concern for those who suffer, a passionate love, and boundless compassion. For the woman who experienced the miracle of healing, as a result, in response to the amazing grace of Jesus, giving Him infinite honor and glory, and publicly announcing that she had become a perfectly normal person. Indeed, the work of “grace upon grace” was given. I hope that we too do not hide the grace we have received, but glorify God by testifying. Those who listen will receive grace and receive the Lord.
VII. The Lord's Proclamation (34)
In the simple faith that touched the hem of the Lord's robe, a wonderful healing work appeared.
① Receiving salvation as a gift
Jesus shows that the woman was not healed because she touched the hem of her robe, but that she received complete restoration because of her “faith”. And when that belief was put into action, the woman's most desperate problem, bleeding, was completely cured. A person's salvation includes not only being released from guilt, but also returning to health and a peaceful social community to enjoy a happy life.
Those who have met Jesus, have been healed, and have found peace should not only think about the grace they have received and stay there. (Luke 8:38,39) You must receive grace and return to your home and society. Those who have received grace have a mission in the family and society. Don't forget that mission and stay there. I have to go back to my family and testify of the grace I have received and the Jesus I have met. I must testify to many people how I met Jesus, my sins were forgiven, I was healed, and I enjoyed peace and joy.
② Receive peace as a gift “Go in peace”
True peace comes from meeting the Lord, forming a right relationship, and fellowshipping. There is no peace apart from the Lord. (John 14:27, Luke 1:28) Peace is a gift from God and a result of grace. Because this woman met Jesus, she was healed and found peace. It would be the Lord's will for all mankind to live in such a peaceful grace. (Case of salvation sailor: Luke 7:50, Luke 17:19, Luke 18:42)
③ Receive health as a gift
As a result of meeting Jesus, salvation (28), healing (29), and peace (34) came. Everyone who met Jesus found peace and health. Illness is not the problem. The problem is my beliefs. Even if you have faith the size of a mustard seed, God works through that faith. It is important to have faith that if you touch the hem of the Lord's clothes, you will be healed, and that if you meet him, you will be healed and made whole.
When you have this faith, you will be saved, you will be at peace by this faith, and you will be healthy because of this faith. The person who receives this gift will live a life of true satisfaction and joy. A life lived with the peace that the Lord gives is true well-being. We hope that all of our members will meet the Lord, solve all their problems, and live a life full of joy and peace at all times.
