Title: Salvation! receive by faith
Contents
Text: Galatians 2:16
What is the most precious thing in life? Jewels, wealth, power, honor, knowledge, people... which one? The answer is “health”. Even if you have wealth, you will be unhappy if you lose your health. Even if you have knowledge, you will be unhappy if you lose your health. It is unfortunate if you lose your health even if you are successful. The hospital buildings and facilities are amazing. It can be said that people value physical health, and that there are many sick people.
During this time, I pray in the name of Jesus for all the saints to be healthy.
The blessing of health is the greatest blessing that the body enjoys while living in this world. In the book of Job, we see that the evil Satan destroys the happy family of Job, but first takes his wealth, his children, and even his health because he does not yield to his faith. What you can see here is that health is more important than material things, even children. There is a blessing more precious than this precious blessing of health in human life, and that is the blessing of salvation.
No matter how precious health is, it will end if you live a lifetime. During that lifetime, you must receive the blessing of salvation to live forever in heaven. Therefore, when someone asks, “Why do you live?”, answer, “I live to be saved.” When someone asks, “Why is this world here?”, please answer, “It is there to distinguish those who will be saved.” Therefore, if you are not saved, you are a fool, a fool, and a poor person.
An example of this is “The Word of the Rich Man and Lazarus” in Luke 16. The rich enjoyed everything from health blessings to material blessings. They lived happily enough that others would envy them. But they did not receive the blessing of salvation. Therefore, the situation after he passed away was much worse than that of Lazarus, who lived in poverty on earth. The rich man seemed to have succeeded in this world, but he lived without realizing that there is a heaven, and without reaching salvation, he suffered and suffered in the flames of hell and hell.
It is important to live happily, healthy and wealthy in this world. But more importantly, live happily ever after in heaven. Therefore, you must be saved.
Salvation is not 9 won, which is less than 1 won from 10 won, but eternal life in heaven. Rather than living forever in hell, what could be more precious than living forever in heaven where the Lord is?
Let's all confess our faith together. “Salvation comes only through faith in Jesus.”
It is not received by each individual's merits, righteousness, wisdom, or becoming a person. “By faith you are justified” (Galatians 2:16), and “Abraham believed God, and it was reckoned to him as righteousness” (Galatians 3:6).
In Acts 16:31 we see that in the Philippian prison, Paul and Silas preach to the chief of the prison guard. “Believe on the Lord Jesus, and you and your household will be saved.”
Jesus also said in John 14:6, “I am the way, the truth, and the life; no one comes to God the Father except through me.
When you say you believe in Jesus, the two most important things must come first.
The first is the confession that “Jesus Christ is the Son of God”.
1 John 3:23 “Believe in his Son Jesus Christ”, that is, believe in Jesus as the Son of God.
1 John 5:5 “Who overcomes the world except he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God?”
In Matthew 16:16 we can see Peter's confession of faith. “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.” Jesus answered, “Blessed are you, Simon Bar-Jonah… On this rock I will build my house, and the gates of Hades will not prevail against it.”
What we can see here is that the church is built on the rock of the confession of faith that Jesus is the Son of God, and the church is a union of spiritual powers that even the powers of hell can't do anything about.
Second, it is a confession that God is my Father and Jesus is my Savior (Lord).
Acts 4:12 For there is no other name under heaven given by which we can be saved. / 2 Timothy 2:10 Salvation in Jesus
Hebrews 2:10 Jesus is the Lord of their salvation / Matthew 1:21 Jesus is the one who will save them from their sins / Matthew 18:11 The Son of Man (Jesus) came to save them from their sins. / Acts 2:21 Whoever calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.
Dear members of Shepherd Church,
We are saved when we believe in Jesus on the premise that Jesus is the Son of God and that He is our Savior. I bless you in the name of Jesus that the souls of the shepherd who have been saved will win over faith on this earth and lead a healthy and happy life both physically and mentally. Amen Hallelujah!
