Title: Samuel's Heartbreaking Sermon
Contents Samuel's heartfelt sermon (the 92nd anniversary of the foundation's thanksgiving service)
When God Himself ruled over Israel, Samuel, the judge and prophet, was the most precious national leader of the people of Israel. But now that the kingdom is ruled by a king, Samuel is no longer the leader of the people of Israel. Because Samuel was also a human being, he must have been vain and saddened by the people of Israel who had left him. But Samuel honestly asks the people of Israel how I have lived with integrity and integrity with a heart of mourning for the people of Israel who are turning away from God. Otherwise, God will punish Israel, so they are grievingly asking them to become God-fearing kings and people.
This Samuel's voice is heard today as a voice of faith that is degenerating and a cry for the church. When the church fulfills its purpose and mission today, God will bless it. However, when it becomes a humanistic church, God leaves the church and is abandoned by the world.
The Korean church, which continued to grow rapidly, peaked in 1995, and the Korean church stopped growing. Simply put, it's broken. If the failure is not repaired, a small failure will eventually turn into a fatal failure that brings the machine to a standstill.
What are the problems of the sick Korean church?
It's because of the slaughter-fighting competition.
This is the problem with extreme egoism, which thinks that having more than others is success regardless of any means. In order to cure the chronic disease of the Korean church, I believe that megachurches should give up their greed and start a movement to serve neighboring churches in need. Many customers came when a devout Christian called . One day, I had a discussion with my husband. Our store is doing well, but how hard is it for our neighbors? So, when customers came, we introduced them to go to the neighboring store because our store didn't have them. Then, as soon as I had time, I wrote a novel, and that novel was the famous novel. Seomun Church wants to be such a church. I hope that by sending 50-100 lay missionaries at a time to the neighboring churches in difficult and difficult situations, we can build them up. Therefore, we hope that our church will be established not only as a growing church, but as a church that grows together with neighboring churches.
This is because the Korean church did not fulfill its mission of the times (Matthew 5:13-16).
The church should be a beacon in the world to shine, because it has lost that light. The modern Korean church emphasized the vertical love of God and failed to practice the horizontal love of neighbor right away. We must enter into a corrupt and depraved world and become a beloved church that will give hope and save souls.
It is at this time that we, Seomun Church, have prepared the Seomun Welfare Center to vigorously carry out this ministry. During the 90th anniversary thanksgiving service, we said that we would create a Seomun Welfare Center to serve the elderly and the disabled. We are now making final preparations for the opening in front of our eyes.
First, we hope that the lost glory of God will be restored through the Seomun Sarangkwan, and all churches in Daegu will learn from the service of Seomun Church, and that the churches will play a role in changing the world. I hope that it will become a church that not only thinks about me, but a church that wishes to revive together, thinks about the world, thinks about the neighboring church, and lives together.
The eldest son is not the place to receive a lot of inheritance. Naturally, it is a place with a heavy responsibility to take care of the whole family.
(Conclusion)
Today, Samuel is sadly appealing that God blesses the nation and the church after God's heart, and that God is angry and punishes people when they go against God's will and fall into humanism. I pray in the name of the Lord that you will become the saints of Seomun Church, who will be used preciously in God's blessings until the Lord comes again by keeping these words in your heart and obeying them.
