Title: Satan's Compromise / Exodus 8: 25-27

Contents Today's text is Exodus 8.

In this text we consider three important events.

The first is the devil's compromise.

Egypt is the world figuratively, the Egyptians are Gentiles, Gentiles are Christians, Pharaoh the king of Egypt is Satan, the land of Canaan is Heaven, and Moses is Jesus.

It is such a non-historical event, but here we can see Satan's compromise plan in four ways.

First of all, I would like to offer a sacrifice here.

Don't be too harsh on your religious life. If you go to a pub, drink alcohol, go to a temple, give a Buddhist gift, go to a shaman, and pray, go to church, and just live a religious life in this world. What is it? Did you mean to go looking for a three-day road or a long road? Instead of doing that, live a round and round life. This is Satan's greatest compromise. At any time, proposals come from husbands, proposals from parents, proposals from neighbors, and proposals from seniors and juniors. This is Satan's best proposal.

Exodus 8:25 tells us to offer sacrifices on this earth.

The second is also not to go too far in Exodus 8:28. Why do you go so deeply in your life of faith? You only have to go to worship once on a Sunday, but why do you go until dawn? Other than that, why do you say that you go to worship in the evening as well? You can only go on a Sunday. Why do you go on a Wednesday? And it is good to have a religion, but not to be a fanatic. So, why do you believe in Jesus so fervently? So the second compromise is not to go too deep into the faith. What is clear is that only when the spirit prospers, all things prosper. Neither will work if this is erratic. That is why we must burn with the fire of the Holy Spirit and ripen with the Word, so that the work of perfect spiritual growth must occur.

Third, in Exodus 10:7, only men were told to go.

It is not to take root in the family.

Why are you trying to live your life of faith so intensively that you can just consciously go to Christmas and go to Thanksgiving and give out envelopes and greetings? And why are you dragging your kids to college? So, leave the children alone. You have to study from the first year of high school to enter college. The third suggestion of the devil is to leave the students at home and come and go. In other words, do not take root in the family.

What is clear is that only when husbands and wives believe in Jesus and their parents believe in Jesus will the work of answers come quickly within the family.

However, once you become a partner, it is difficult to receive answers. Some have been members of our church for 30 years, but neither lead their husbands nor lead their children, and their horned husbands go to this church and their children to that church. I can't even get a funeral.

The deceased is dead, but the funeral is held at the church where the son goes, and there is a controversy over the church where the daughter goes. Therefore, the life of faith must be united.

Children should also be dragged from a young age. Cursors aren't usually hard. Therefore, we must unite, but Satan says not to go. you're going to go

The fourth suggestion is that in Exodus 10:24, let the people go, but leave the cattle, sheep, and goats alone.

That means believe, believe, but don't give. If possible, go late and go after the donation time is over. It is Satan's way to tell people not to pay offerings. In this way, Satan uses four methods.

Go out of the church, but practice secularized faith, don't go too deep, and don't take root and don't give anything to God. This is the inside of Satan.

The second is the attitude of our believers.

If you fell for Satan today, you must repent.

If you have Satan's heart in your heart, you must pull it out.

But Moses represents us as believers today. Here, Moses lived a life of faith that did not compromise with Satan and did not give up on faith until the very end.

Moses cannot compromise with the world, the last card. After that, I did not fall for the words not to go far. For example, who goes to the mountain to make a sacrifice and says, "Do you need to go up to the top of the mountain? I don't know who's tomb is down here, but let's give it here." Even if it is difficult and difficult, you will have to go to the grave of your grandfather, but there is a place called ancestral rites. It's not offered anywhere.

Today we must have my church. There must be a place where I can worship.

Satan tells you not to go far. And they tell me not to take root, only men to go. However, there must be a history that takes root in the family. Only then will the work of overcoming Satan and receiving blessings take place. And I said to leave the goats, sheep, and cattle alone, but no. The work of receiving blessings takes place only when you give a full tithe before God, keep the Sunday holy, and give thanks. However, Moses rejected Satan's compromise and won the victory by following God's word until the end.

The third is God's attitude toward believers.

There are times when our prayers seem to be unanswered. The water turns into blood and there is no solution, the frog covers the sky and the earth, but the solution does not work. Even if the teeth stick together, the solution does not work. Even if the fly enters the eyes and the nose, there is no solution.

Praying can't be this hard. Some of you keep on offering a thousand burnt offerings and praying and clinging to God. This is what is happening in the Bible now. It seems to continue, but there is no solution. In that way, in the end, all the animals died, boils burst, hail fell, darkness covered them, locusts covered them, and at the end of the story, the firstborn died. However, on the day of the death of the eldest son, a history of unfairly receiving all the wages for 400 years of work arose. And the history of the death of all the firstborn sons of the Egyptians, who had been despised, arose.

Not only that, but they are going to the land of Canaan now, and the blessed king of Egypt has sent all his troops, and the people of Israel are going like land, but the Egyptian army is all buried in the Red Sea, and they are destroyed. They brought all their possessions and came out to glorify God. It happened. A history that may seem impossible is happening. Hallelujah!

So, without compromising with the devil, it may not seem like it should be just a book of faith, it may seem like it is falling apart, it may seem like it may prosper or die, but it will live. do.
