Title (II) Save Time (Ephesians 5:15~6:1~9)
Contents
The text of the text tells us to live as wise people who do not waste reality while passing through the realities of the world.
“Therefore, be careful how you do it.”
① In the reality of meeting this time, this place, this person, this event…., through the Holy Spirit’s conscience, listen carefully to the voice that tells you to do what you say. ② In the present reality, there is only one thing you can do. It is the word of the Lord to find and hold onto the will of the Lord. ③ There are many forked roads, so find the one and only word that will do the Lord’s will and hold onto it (Matt 7:13~14, Deuteronomy 28:1)
“Don’t be like those without wisdom”
“Be like the wise”
① It means that the saints have the qualifications, abilities, rights, and hopes to achieve their own salvation in real life with the wisdom of God, the true wisdom. ② Only Jesus has true wisdom, but believers who are united with Jesus will be perfected as people of God like Jesus with the true wisdom they received from Jesus, and they are saying that they should work hard because they are able to do all good works. . ③ Therefore ● “Therefore, be ye perfect as your Father in heaven is perfect” (Matthew 5:48) ● “But be ye holy in all your conduct, just as the Holy One who called you” (1 Peter 1:15). ) ● “Everyone who has this hope in the Lord purifies himself as he is pure” (1 John 3:3) ④ Saints can become such people by the power of God (Matthew 19:26, Zechariah 4:6) ⑤ Those who build houses with gold, silver, or precious stones (1 Corinthians 3:12).
“Save time”
① This is the reality that keeps coming to the saints without rest. ② In the reality that God created and created to meet, there is the treasure of sanctification and salvation that the saints will achieve. ③ In the reality that flows like a flowing stream, take the treasure of salvation from time to time to achieve salvation so that it will not be lost ④ God gives each individual the amount of sanctification and salvation that must be accomplished on that day. To fully accomplish the salvation that must be accomplished in that reality is to save time. ⑤ Therefore, Paul said, “Therefore, my beloved, always obey, not only in my presence but also in my absence, work out your salvation with fear and trembling” (Philippians 2:12).
“The Times Are Evil”
① In the reality of the world in which the saints live, not to mention those who do not believe, even those who believe are filled with evil that believes with their heart. ② When a person goes into the sea, just as water surrounds them without any gaps, so evil surrounds the saints and pressures them to live not God-centered but creation-centered. So, if you don't pay attention to what you do while always watching and praying, you will be occupied with evil. easy to get hit ③ Therefore, let the saints achieve salvation by doing their studies, business, learning skills, and any physical work according to the words of the Spirit, life and eternal life, taught by the Holy Spirit through their conscience and faith, so that they can become truly successful in both the flesh and the spirit. (Matthew 6:33).
