Title: Savior Jesus (Acts 04:5-12)
Content How God's Salvation Has Been Revealed In other words, who is the savior who saves the perishing sinner from sin and destruction by the covenant of grace and election before eternity?
The Sojourn 21 states that the only Redeemer of God's elect is the Lord Jesus Christ, the eternal Son of God, who became a man, and was and will forever be in a person with two distinct personalities as God and man. .
That is, Jesus Christ is the only savior.
Acts 4:12 says that salvation cannot be found in anyone else, and there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we can be saved.
John 14:6 says that I am the way, the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father except through me.
1. Why is Jesus the only savior? Even angels are not qualified to save people from sin and destruction.
Although angels do not have me, they are bloodsomlues, and their status is not as precious as that of humans. Humans are made in the image of God, but angels are spirits. Because they are errands (Hebrews 1:14).
Humans cannot redeem humans. This is because impersonal matter cannot take the place of personalities and cannot solve the problem of eternal life of the finite. Therefore, only Jesus is the savior.
(1) It is because only Jesus has the qualifications of the Redeemer.
The 21st paragraph of the Sojourn says that the only Redeemer of God's elect is Jesus Christ.
1 Timothy 2:6 Because he gave himself as a ransom for all. Ephesians 5:2 For he gave himself up for us to give to God as fragrant riches and livestock.
Hebrews 9:12 Because it is said that he entered the holy place once for all, having obtained eternal redemption with his own blood.
Hebrews 1:3 Jesus is the real image of God.. Because He is the One who purifies sins.
Because only Jesus is the ransom.
The background of the ransom is in Exod. 21:29-32. When an ox killed a person, the owner who did not control the ox in advance had to be killed just like the ox. But life was open. that is the atonement When a slave is killed by an ox, the atonement is 30 pieces of silver.
Thirty pieces of silver were a ransom for saving the dead. Jesus Christ is the reality of redemption that saves sinners. And because Jesus is the only sacrifice. it is a sin offering It is Jesus Christ of the Old Testament sacrificial system, in which an innocent and innocent animal was sacrificed for the sin of the sinner.
Hebrews 9:22 According to the law almost all things are purified with blood, and without the shedding of blood there is no remission. to
He was given at once to take charge. Therefore, only Jesus is the savior.
(2) It is because only Jesus has the qualifications to be a mediator.
Great dish 36 It is said that the only servant of the covenant of grace is Jesus Christ, the eternal Son of God who is the same and equal with God the Father.
1 Timothy 2:5 There is one God and one servant between God and men, the man Christ Jesus.
Salvation is the reconciliation between the sinful sin and the wrathful God of justice, and the one who plays the role of reconciliation is the savior and mediator.
Only Jesus can do this role. This is because Jesus is the only mediator.
Heb 9:15 He is the mediator of the new covenant, saying that He died to atone for the sins committed in the first covenant.
2. Why only Jesus is qualified (1) It is because Jesus is the only person who is equipped with new human development.
The Sojourn 21 says that Jesus became a man as the eternal Son of God.
The Sojourn 36 said that he was the eternal Son of God, and at the due time he became a man.
It means that if Jesus were a normal human being, he could not be the savior of sinners.
Because all ordinary people are sinful.
It means that if Jesus were simply a human being, he could not be the Savior of sinners. This is because innocent humanity cannot replace the entire selector.
Not only that, it meant that Jesus was able to carry out the work of the Savior as a purely Son of God. Because God cannot die.
It means that only because Jesus became a man as the Son of God, he could become the savior of sinners. It means that, as God, he could die in the place of sinners.
Philippians 2:6 He said that He was in the form of God... but emptied Himself... and became like a man, and was found in human form.
This is because only man can die in his stead, and only God can replace the entire elect.
(2) Because only Jesus is innocent.
Hebrews 4:15 He was in all things tempted, yet without sin.
1 Peter 2:22 He committed no sin, and no deceit was found in his mouth.
1 John 3:5 You know that he was revealed to take away our sins; in him there is no sin.
2 Corinthians 5:21 God made him who knew no sin to be sin for us, so that we might become the righteousness of God in him.
Heb 7:26 We are worthy of such a high priest, holy, blameless, undefiled, separate from sinners, and higher than heaven.
As mentioned above, Jesus is the only one who is innocent and is qualified to atone for sinners
He deserves to bear the sin.
Why is Jesus without sin because he was not polluted by original sin. It was not inherited from Adam and Eve's first sin. He must have been uncontaminated by original sin because he was not born of ordinary reproductive law, that is, by being incarnated through the Virgin Mary.
Also, because he did not commit any crimes against himself, he was actually without sin.
Because he did not have the original sin nature, he could not commit self-crime, and he could not be polluted with sin by the grace and power of the Holy Spirit. Therefore, he had never actually committed a crime, and as an innocent person who had not sinned, he could be a substitute for a sinner.
(3) Because only the blood of Jesus is effective.
The reason why only the blood of Jesus is effective is that the blood of Jesus has the effect of eternal redemption (Hebrews 9:12).
The blood of Jesus is the blood of God (Acts 20:28).
This is because the blood of Jesus has the effect of redemption for all people (Matthew 26:28).
Because the blood of Jesus is the holy blood (1 Peter 1:19).
