The text is a vision the prophet Ezekiel saw. There is no drop of water, and the flying bird is panting, too. Water is flowing down from somewhere. I wondered where the precious water of life was flowing. [The water that started flowing from the threshold of the temple gradually increased and eventually became a large river that could not be crossed. This is the story of seeing a vision in which all things are fired in the dry and dead heaven and earth, and even abundant ports are created.]
Jesus Christ is the fountain of water.
The threshold symbolizes Jesus Christ. Therefore, to say that water came out from under the threshold means that the Lord is the source of water. Jesus is the source of life, salvation, and blessings. We believe in that.
This is water that flows non-stop.
The water that comes out of the temple gate is running water, not standing water like a pond or reservoir. This means that the wave of the gospel that began in Jerusalem will soon spread throughout the world, watering the parched land. The reason for the existence of the church lies in the witness of the gospel.
The water grew more and more.
As it continued to flow, the water continued to rise. It was kicked first to the ankle, then to the knee, then to the waist, and later became a large river that could not be crossed without swimming. The text can be interpreted as a word that shows the progress of the kingdom of God or a person's faith growth.
The fact that your ankles are immersed in water is a word that shows the initial state of your faith.
Being submerged in water up to the knees means a state of faith that walks hands and feet to serve, and prays on the knees.
Being kicked to the waist means living under the control of the Holy Spirit, a state of faith that has reached a stage where you cannot move on your own.
You will reach the swimming stage. This is the stage where your whole body is immersed in the river of grace and swims.
The history of plasticity took place wherever the river flowed.
The mysterious power of the gospel has a history of revitalizing it. The heart is changed, the abundant blessing of God overflows, and the life is changed. When we experience the full power of the Holy Spirit, the river of grace overflows in our hearts and homes, and the dirty and shady things disappear. Let's experience the full power of the Holy Spirit.
