Title: Secrets/Colossians 1:25-29

What did Jesus say to those who believed in Jesus?

(Rev 3:20) Behold, I stand at the door and knock; if anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will go in to him and eat with him, and he with me.

You are already living in me.

Do you believe this?

Then consider two important facts.

1. Now, instead of looking for God outside, look for God within.

(Colossians 1:27) God wanted them to know how rich the glory of this mystery is among the Gentiles, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.

(Colossians 1:28) We preached him, admonishing each one, and teaching each one in all wisdom, that each one might be made perfect in Christ.

(Col 1:29) To this end, I also labor with all my might, according to the work of him who works in me with power.

What do you say is the secret?

That Christ is in me.

But we often think of Christ as if he was somewhere far away and at some point came to us.

In Old Testament times, God was far away.

(Psalm 121:1) I lift up my eyes to the mountains, where will my help come from?

What do you think? Wherever God is in that high place, people are searching for Him.

People were afraid that God would appear, and God was still in a veil. So God has always been a mysterious being.

But in the New Testament times it is different.

God has revealed Himself through Christ. So what does Jesus say?

(John 14:9) Jesus said to him, Philip, I have been with you for so long, and have you not known me? He who has seen me has seen the Father; why do you say, Show the Father?

That is, God came to us as Christ. And he lives in us.

In the Old Testament times, God came to man for a brief visit, but in the New Testament, He came to dwell in us forever.

In the Old Testament, we lived waiting for the Lord to come, but

The New Testament speaks of the one who was waiting for him to come and dwell.

Now we are living in the New Testament age, when God is living in our hearts and in our lives.

In Old Testament times, it was brought in from the outside.

God was also found outside. I also went to the kingdom of God. People brought the sacrifice.

But in the New Testament era, it flows from the inside out.

So what does Jesus say?

(John 7:38) Whoever believes in me, as the Bible says, out of his belly will flow rivers of living water.

In the Old Testament times, people sought God. But in the New Testament times, He has come and dwells among us.

In the New Testament era, the kingdom of God is not to go, but has already been in us.

So now we must not seek God outside, up there, but find Him who dwells within us.

This is the huge difference between the Old and New Testaments.

So look at Paul's epistles in the New Testament.

You don't know how much I'm talking about the God inside, not the God outside.

(1 Corinthians 3:16) Do you not know that you are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwells in you?

(Galatians 2:20) I have been crucified with Christ, and it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life I now live in the flesh is faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me to live inside

But what about us?

Jesus is already in me, but the Lord in me doesn't care, I don't feel, I don't listen, I keep waiting outside, waiting for him to come down from above.

At this time, we must remember these words.

(Romans 8:26) In the same way, the Holy Spirit helps us in our weakness, for we do not know how to pray as we ought, but the Spirit Himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words.

The sound of the Holy Spirit groaning.

'Hey, where do you find me, I am already in you'

We no longer expect anything to come down from heaven, but we must now hold on to Christ in me.

Now I have to release the thing of Him who lives in me with power.

Because Paul knew this truth, although he was weak, he showed the works of God's power because of the Lord living in him.

Now acknowledge the Lord in me.

And depend on him from time to time, and live consciously of him.

Let's ask.

Is Jesus alive in you?

if so,

Do you believe that Jesus is powerful?

Do you believe in being wise? Do you believe that you are the one who can solve all problems?

Do you believe that he is good at evangelism and that he is excellent in all things?

So, do we need to worry about the coming problems? isn't there?

Can I do well? isn't there?

can i be blessed isn't there?

Who lives in me? Jesus. It's not me who does it, but who does it? Jesus

Remember these words clearly.

(Galatians 2:20) I have been crucified with Christ, and it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life I now live in the flesh is faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me to live inside

2. Do not exchange for this Jesus and anything else.

Do you remember the words you saw during the day today?

(Colossians 2:3) In him are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.

(John 14:6) Jesus said to them, I am the way, the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father except through me.

(John 1:3) All things were made through him, and without him nothing was made that was made.

(Romans 11:36) For all things come from the Lord, and through the Lord and to the Lord, to him be the glory for ever and ever. Amen

In a word, Jesus is the incomparable to anything in the world.

Is Jesus greater or less than money?

Is Jesus greater or less than honor?

Is Jesus Greater Than My Favorite? little?

Even if you compare it with anything in this world, it cannot be compared to Jesus.

So, look at the lives of those who knew Jesus like this.

look at Moses

(Hebrews 11:24) By faith Moses, when he had grown up, refused to be called the son of Pharaoh's princess,

(Hebrews 11:25) Rather, he preferred to suffer with God's people than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a short time.

(Hebrews 11:26) They counted reproach for the sake of Christ greater riches than all the treasures of Egypt, because they looked to the reward.

Who was greater than all the wealth and glory of Egypt?

Knowing that, how can you stay still when you know that there is something more precious?

Let's look at Paul again.

(Phil 3:7) But whatever things that were useful to me, I counted them all as loss for the sake of Christ.

(Philippians 3:8) And I count all things as loss, because the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord is the noblest, because for his sake I lost everything, and counted as dung I gained Christ.

(Phil 3:9) To be found in him, which I have not of the law, but of faith in Christ, the righteousness of God by faith.

(Philippians 3:10) I was conformed to his death, so that I might make known the Christ, the power of his resurrection, and the sharing in his sufferings.

(Philippians 3:11) Anyway, I seek to reach the resurrection from the dead.

(Philippians 3:12) Not that I have already obtained it, nor that it has been perfected, but I am pursuing what I was caught up with by Christ Jesus.

Paul

What Paul had was great. But they said it was considered shit.

Is it because he compares what he has with what?

In comparison, there is an incomparable and immense treasure contained within.

That's right.

Jesus is the incomparable, irreplaceable treasure of anything in this world. do you believe

So what should I do?

(Matthew 13:45) And the kingdom of heaven is like a merchant seeking fine pearls.

(Matthew 13:46) When he found a pearl of great value, he went and sold all that he had and bought it.

You have to sell and buy.

Unfortunately, many people do not know about this Jesus right away, so they exchange it with Jesus for a moment and then disappear.

If you give me billions of dollars, can you exchange it with the Lord?

Today in my heart I want to see this Lord who lives in me.

So, up until now, I do not want God to come to me from outside or from high places, but now I want to become the Lord who has already entered and dwelt within me, and I want to be a releaser of His things.

In all things, in all things, let us think of the Lord who lives in us, and believe and act in the Lord.

only?

Jesus is the most precious treasure incomparable to anything in the world.

Would you like to trade this treasure and shit? It can't be. Even if you sell your field, you must have a treasure. We do not want to lose faith because of the things of the world, and we want to be able to use the things of the world for our faith.
