Title: Secrets of Good Parenting Main Text: Exodus 2:1-10

The most important figure in the book of Exodus is Moses, who was also the leader of the Exodus. Moses' life was God's grace from birth. Moses' survival as well as education and life after that were thoroughly received by God's grace and guidance. In particular, there is a person who made his son receive such grace from God. He was Moses' mother. It shows how he saved his son Moses, who was forced to die by the king's command, and how he trusted God to take care of her son. Moses' mother was a godly mother who trusted God with all her heart.

1. Circumstances and circumstances do not make good children.

Exodus 2:1 The story of the Exodus begins with the story of a nameless couple. This is an assumption that no one knows about. It's not even an exceptionally good family. Not a family with any strong social background. It is a family where you have to worry about food and fall in fear of Pharaoh's threat. It is a family that has no choice but to give up everything in the face of the fear of death. But Moses, the leader of Israel, was born in such a family and became a good worker. Raising Moses, the environment was the worst. It was a slave's home, and there were no facilities for learning and no qualifications. However, the material was not plentiful. However, it was not a condition that allowed them to leave their children and raise them with peace of mind. This is saying that when we raise our children, the most important thing in the world is our faith in God. When raising children, you must raise them in faith. It must be nurtured by the word. Moses' mother raised Israel's leaders through faith even in difficult circumstances and circumstances.

2. Moses' mother paid a price for Moses.

3. We depended on God's help.

Exodus 2:5-6 We see that everything is going as Moses' mother had envisioned. This is God's help. Of the many women, Pharaoh's daughter came out to bathe at just the right time, and when she saw the child, she had pity on him, that the Hebrew child was to be killed, but that she accepted him as her own child, and that the child's mother was the child's nanny. It's not that I became flexible. That there was a thorough helping hand of God. You can see that God does not forsake those who walk in faith and thoroughly helps them.

4. It is a cooperative faith.

Exodus 2:4 Moses' sister had the same heart, faith, and trust in God as her mother. To check whether his brother is alive or not, and to know how God is leading him, he hides among the reeds and waits. Everyone! If we are like us, isn't it obvious that our brother will die? Will there be a child alive in the reed box? But Moses' sister had hope. Moses' sister believed in God's providence. If Moses' sister had not had faith, would she have been waiting there? I would have just given up and threw it away anyway. Philippians 1:27 “Only live worthy of the gospel of Christ, that even though I go to you and am absent, you stand with one mind and work together for the faith of the gospel with one mind.” 0 To expect good things We must cooperate. We need the cooperation of faith. We can raise great children when we work together with one heart and one mind.
