Title: See God's Salvation

Bible: Exodus 14:10-14

Starting Point of the Word>>

Today, this time I would like to share a sermon with the title of “See the salvation of God.

I looked up the dictionary definition of the word salvation,

“It means the rescue of mankind from fundamentally negative or impossible situations such as suffering, evil, finiteness, and death.”

We are believers who have already experienced God's salvation.

Jesus Christ saved us from eternal death by dying on the cross, and we are experiencing the wonderful grace of God that saves us from various difficulties through life.

Nevertheless, the reason we share the Word today with the title “See God's Salvation” is because God is constantly working out the work of salvation through our life journey.

Summarizing the text,

The Israelites lost their freedom for a long time in Egypt and suffered oppression and suffering. When the people reached a situation they could no longer bear, they all cried out to God all at once. So God heard their cry, and appointed Moses as a leader, and through him freed the Israelites from Egypt.

The pain in the past was unparalleled to any other place.

But God, by grace, freed Israel from slavery to free people.

For Israel, the event of liberation from Egypt is a remarkable event in which they experienced the God of salvation.

But Israel, who had tasted God's salvation, now encountered another difficult situation: the Red Sea.

Even though the Israelites had already tasted God's salvation, they could see them blaming God in front of the great barrier of the Red Sea.

As I said above, God's work of salvation does not stop only once.

God's salvation is continually revealed for God's people.

Now, God is working out the work of salvation once again for the Israelites who are blaming God in front of the Red Sea.

I pray in the name of the Lord that those of you who have already believed in the work of God's salvation through faith in Jesus Christ will continue to experience the amazing work of God's salvation that saves us from the difficulties of our lives through today's words. .

Go to Word>>

Then, what kind of saint can see God's salvation?

First, believers who pray to God can see God's salvation

In Exodus 3:7, we read,

“I have clearly seen the affliction of my people in Egypt, and I have heard the cry of their overseers, and I know their forbidden heart,” said the LORD.

I did.

This means that life in Egypt was so painful that he could not bear it and heard the voices of Israel crying out to God.

God brought the people of Israel out of Egypt because of the voices of God's people who were afflicted in a foreign country and cried out to God.

However, there was another difficulty in front of these Israel, and that is the problem of the Red Sea.

The Red Sea is in front of you, and the Egyptian army is behind you.

At this time, the people of Israel, who had experienced God's salvation, began to express their grudges and complaints against God again.

What does Moses do at such a time?

It is praying to God.

In verse 10 of the text, what the people cried out was not prayer.

When they were in crisis, they cried out to God, which was like murmuring and complaining to Moses.

But Moses prayed for God's help.

If we look at verse 15 of the text,

“The LORD said to Moses, “Why do you cry to me?”

Says.

Moses' cry became the starting point of seeing God's salvation.

All the other people did not pray for God's salvation, but Moses prayed for God's salvation.

There may be many things to grumble and complain about in our life's path.

However, I hope that you will continue to pray for God's salvation in all these matters.

Second, believers who believe in God's power can see God's salvation

According to Exodus 12:51,

“On that very day the Lord brought the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt along with their multitude.”

said

If we look at verse 13 of the text,

“Moses said to the people, “Do not be afraid, stand still and see the salvation of the LORD, which he will work for you today, for you will never see the Egyptians whom you see today.”

Says.

God's salvation is a privilege given to believers who have faith who completely entrusts them to God.

The reason you cannot experience God's salvation even though you have faith is because you have trust in your own knowledge, not absolute trust.

Today, Moses wants to restore the faith of Israel who cried out in the land of Egypt.

It is to believe and rely on the power of God who led them out of Egypt.

As saints, we must not transform the power of God into our knowledge and thoughts.

The power of God is as amazing as we can't even imagine.

If you want to experience God's power of salvation today, I ask you in the name of the Lord to become those of you who confess your absolute faith toward God.

Third, the saints who wait for God's grace can see the glory of God.

Looking at verses 13-14 of the text once again,

“Moses said to the people, “Do not be afraid, stand still, and see the salvation of the LORD, which he will work for you today. The Egyptians you saw today will never be seen again. The LORD will fight for you, and you will be still.”

said

Standing still in a desperate situation with Pharaoh's cavalry in pursuit and the Red Sea in front of him is no easy feat.

Without faith, it is difficult.

But if you have faith that God can do it, it is possible.

There are things I can do and things I can't.

There are things I can do because I scream and rush, and there are things that I can't.

No matter how hard we try, nothing will happen unless God is with us.

If something goes wrong while praying to God, we keep trying to do it with our own knowledge and stubbornness.

However, when we become believers who believe and wait for God's grace, we can experience God's salvation.

Now God is preparing to show His people the great power of salvation.

We must be saints who stand still and wait for God's work.

Rather than delaying God's help by stepping forward, it is a good way to trust and trust in God and leave everything to us and wait.

If you want to experience God's salvation today, I ask you in the name of the Lord to become believers who are waiting for God to work.

At the end of the speech>>

Organize your words.

God's work of salvation is experienced through me and your life even at this moment.

However, not everyone can experience this kind of God's grace.

Only those who pray, believe in God's power, and wait for God's work can experience God's saving grace.

Please do not look at the works of God with our knowledge or stubbornness, but look forward to God's work of salvation, even in the smallest things.

When we leave everything to God and wait, God will let me and you experience the amazing grace of salvation.

I pray in the name of the Lord that today will be a precious and blessed day when you experience God who saves us by His great grace.
