Title: Seeking God's Will (Judges 13:1-25)
Contents The life of faith is a life of living according to God's will and seeking God's will no matter what you do.
As Samson's father, Manoah wanted to educate his son according to God's will.
Samson grew up according to God's will and was educated according to God's will to save the nation.
He became a judge and became a servant of God who accomplished God's will.
1. A life of doing the right thing (8).
The reason Samson's father Manoah sought God's will was an earnest prayer that he would become a son who lives upright in all his actions. This is because, in order to become a judge of God, you must first act properly and have an honest heart.
2. Life with God moment by moment (9-11).
Under Manoah's faith, who wanted a life with God, whether in the field or at home, Samson was educated and learned to live. We too must live in the right faith that God is with us every minute.
3. Living according to the Word (12-14).
The will of God means living a life according to the Word. Living according to the Word is the chosen nation and the life that God's children must live. We should imitate Manoah's faith, who prayed for his son Samson to live according to God's word, so that we should not forget the word every minute and minute and live by keeping it.
A person who keeps the Word and obeys the Word regardless of location is a person who lives a life that fulfills God's will.
Let's give first (Judges 13:15-20)
The world we live in is always waiting with two roads open. It is the way to live toward God and the way to follow the world. Above all, the saints must choose the way toward God and go that way. Whether we give our bodies to the world or God first, we must become God's true servants in two ways.
1. Give what you have prepared (15).
You must give it to God, but you must have a holy heart to give after preparing. I don't believe in giving away whatever I have. Since God is not a beggar, He is ruling over all of us, so we must have the right faith to distinguish the good, prepare the first, and prepare the unblemished.
2. Let's know correctly (16-17).
The right heart to offer sacrifices is to know God rightly and give it. Manoah didn't know God's messenger very well, and he called out his name and thought that he would respect him later, but this thought was wrong in the sight of God. Our faith should be the faith to know God rightly, to give Him rightly, and to serve Him with respect from this moment on.
3. Give to the Stranger (18-20).
God's name is a strange and mysterious name, and it is a holy name that humans cannot call upon it.
It's a name. When Manoah knew the name of God right away and offered a meal offering, a miracle of God appeared. Let's receive God's answer and become a humble believer.
