Title: Seize the Future (Matthew 18:1-10)
Content Seize the future (Matthew 18:1-10) - Missionary Chang-geun Yang (Fountain of Life Church, Paraguay)
[Matthew 18:1-10]
We are doing missionary work for locals and indigenous peoples in Paraguay, South America. The original owners of Paraguay are the Guarani. The Guarani are a peace-loving and music-loving people. When the Spanish occupied Paraguay, the Guarani did not want to go to war with them, so they gave their daughters and wives to the Spanish soldiers to preserve their people. The Spanish army lived for a while and then moved away, and the Spanish army and the Guarani people formed one nation, which became the nation of Paraguay. So 90% of them are mixed races.
Living there, I got to see how sick and difficult they were. His father is Spanish and his mother is Guarani. When the children were born, the father had already left there. When they grew up, they realized that they looked like a handsome European, different from their mother, and they wanted to follow their father and be white. But the Spaniards did not recognize them. If you look at the Paraguayan family, you can see a family where the Spanish father is not seen, and three kinds of races are formed: a Guarani mother and a Mispi (mixed) child. I moved there 27 years ago. Paraguay, introduced in the world travel book, said that there are many women, just as there are many fruits on the tree.
In 1864, Brazil, Argentina, and Uruguay were at war with each other. When the Seven Years' War ended, most of the men died, leaving only the wounded, the elderly and children. The male to female ratio is 1:8. It is a country with sexual promiscuity, single mothers, matrilineal society, and a social structure that does not know the father. It is said that 80-90% of homes have collapsed. I trained 12 people. They were in pain when they heard the love of Heavenly Father and the word of the gospel. And the reason they couldn't open their hearts was because they didn't have a father in their home. 1 in 12 people live with their father. It was very difficult for my father to preach the gospel to those whom he hated.
A little far away from my church is a ghastly land called Zukut, called the Land of Salt. People who make a living by giving garbage make up a village. An old woman felt sorry for their lives and asked them to build a church. After 6 years of tent church, I built a social welfare center called Vision Canaan (a land flowing with salt and honey) last year.
While preparing “Ariba Ni o” (Rise up, children), we see the work of God. The Billy Graham Evangelism Association fully supports and promises to participate. Paraguay's Minister of Education knows and sends an official letter to the school so that they can participate. TV, radio stations and newspapers are actively supporting it, and there is a plan to publish a children's charter that day. We are praying that Paraguay's crumbling families, abandoned and abused and marginalized children will once again become objects of love, protection in the country, and opportunities to discover their identity as children of God's kingdom and grow into future leaders. According to the Bible, [Can any good thing come out of Nazareth?] But in the name of Jesus of Nazareth, in the name of Jesus of Nazareth, those in heaven and those on earth are brought to their knees. believe that The eyes of the Lord are staying in Paraguay, where we pass for a while. It is to show the love of Christ by participating in the field of prayer and missions.
Also, in the United States, we must turn our eyes to other peoples and preach the gospel. If you do not know the effective evangelism plan due to your lack of language, you will learn the strategy while playing together in the Paraguay field and you will gain the confidence to preach the gospel in the field of life. This is something that can cause Hispanic children even here. If we see that vision, it is a great blessing that God gives us. We must lead children to Jesus. You have to look at the child standing between Jesus and the disciples. Terrorist groups also use children to educate them from an early age to martyrdom. What do we look like? Please hold the children in your arms.
