Contents
Isaiah 53
1. There are things that are considered insignificant to man, but there are things that are precious in the sight of God.
Section 1. distrusted.
Section 2. His beautiful face is hidden.
Section 3. To be despised - sarcastic. ridicule, ridicule. take lightly
The attitude of people toward the servants of God was, in a word, rejection.
People did not recognize the species.
But the servant was approved by God.
There are things that man does not acknowledge, but God approves.
On the other hand, God does not approve, but you may hear people's praise.
Gal 1:10: Now do I seek the pleasure of men or of God or the joy of men? If I have sought the joy of men until now, then I am not a servant of Christ.
We have to be nice to people.
But that is not to win their hearts.
However, according to the word of God, the life of the character that God makes to maturity is to love people.
If you try to please people, you will be manipulated by them.
However, in the heart of serving, there is no risk of looking at people rather than God.
(2 Timothy 2:15) Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly handling the word of truth.
Let us not pay too much attention to the attitudes of people and our sufferings.
If you focus on what God will think of you, then you are definitely living well.
2. Servant's attitude toward rejection was obedience (7-9)
When we feel unappreciated by people or when it seems that society or the system of the country betrays us, we are easy to get angry or give up.
There is a comedian saying that is in full swing right now.
‘A dirty world that only remembers number one!’/ ‘What has the country done for me…’
This kind of heart and this attitude are the characteristics of people who depend on people and try to be liked by people.
If they don't seem to treat me well, they get nauseous, irritable, jealous, and dehydrated.
If they seem to recognize themselves and appear to be good-looking, they become bloated, strained in their necks, ignore others, and become arrogant.
All of these people are conscious of people and live their lives.
A servant of God is gentle and bold in all things by looking to God.
He faces suffering and death in silence.
Because we believe that God is with us in all circumstances.
(John 19:10-11) Pilate said to him, "Don't you tell me, do you not know that I have authority to release you and authority to crucify you?"
11 Jesus answered, "If it had not been given to me from above, you would not have had any power to harm me. Therefore, the one who delivered me to you is the greater sin."
(Matthew 10:29) Aren't two sparrows sold for a farthing? But not one of them will fall to the ground unless your Father permits it.
Are you in a difficult situation?
Are there people in the way, and is there something sad about it?
Let's not waste the energy of life resenting or resenting the environment or people.
Rather, let's seek God's will, obey it, and live boldly.
Daniel and his three friends were in an environment prone to anger and frustration.
Read Daniel 1:7-17
They lost their country and were taken to Babylon.
Even his name was changed there, and he was not given consideration to live as God's people.
But they did not fight hunger, fight for independence, or become discouraged and addicted to alcohol.
Rather, he sought God's will and lived quietly and powerfully.
And as a result, we received great grace in the land that He had given us, and we were able to testify of the living God.
(Psalm 118:6) The LORD is on my side; I will not fear; what can man do to me?
(1 Corinthians 10:13) No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man, but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it.
In difficult times, let's be on God's side and live our lives with boldness and obedience.
