Isaiah 53
1. Servant rejected (1-3)
① The arm of Jehovah (1)
② Servant's poor appearance (2)
Jehovah's servant was not attractive in appearance. Because it had neither a beautiful appearance nor an appearance, it was not worthy of admiration. Christ was ordinary, not special enough to attract people's attention.
③ people's contempt (3)
People did not recognize their Savior and rejected them with contempt. Even the disciples had reached a point of misery that they turned away.
2. The Servant's Suffering (4-6)
① Illuminating the reasons for suffering from the perspective of servants and people (4-5)
The suffering suffered by the servant bore our sorrows and sorrows, and people thought that he was being punished by God for his wrongdoing.
The chastisement of a servant is for our transgressions and iniquities; through his discipline we find peace, and by his wounds we are healed.
② God's solution to human sin (6)
Each of us, like sheep, went to his own way to commit iniquity, so the servant, the Lamb of God, took away all our iniquities.
3. The attitude of the servant toward rejection (7-9)
① The servant who faced suffering and death in silence (7-8)
The servant endured all kinds of hardships, but he made no excuses. After suffering all these hardships, he remained silent until death. The figure of a servant who was silent to the point of death in order to accomplish God's will.

Jesus was buried.
4. The exaltation of the servant (10-12)
① Jehovah's servant who bears sins as a sin offering (10-11)
A servant offered himself as a trespass offering to accomplish God's will.
② The final ascension of the servant (12)
In the end, the servant will be the victor. It seems that the servant died as a criminal, but in the end he bore the sins of man, and he prayed for our criminals.
