Title: Servant of Suffering II/Psalm 2:22-31

Many people may understand Psalm 22 as the psalm of David's suffering, but this verse does not end with such a historical background, but is a prophetic book about the Messiah, the Lord Jesus, our Savior. So, what are you prophesying? This is the story of the suffering servant who came to suffer.

1. The servant of suffering has called us brothers.

The Bible says that Christ was not ashamed to call us brothers. Siblings are classmates. The Lord is calling us as peers. Why did you call me brother? It is often thought that the hardships I face today are the most difficult ones. That is why we need someone to look to when we suffer, and that is Jesus. Jesus is the one who suffered the most grievous and most painful sufferings of life. That is why he came as a brother among us and made us look at him. That's why he calls us brothers.

2. The Servant of Suffering expanded the scope of the gospel.

Jesus, who called the Jews as brothers, expanded the scope. Jesus said that when he died, he showed interest in someone other than himself. This attention is turned to God just before fate. That is, the subject of interest has expanded. Also, we can see from the Bible that the scope has expanded from a congregation to a large congregation. A congregation is a church. Therefore, Jesus gave the church not only to Jews but also to Gentiles to expand its scope. It is Jesus who gives the same love to the late, the good, and the bad. He said that not only those who believed in the past or those who believed in the present but also those who believed in the future would be saved. In this way, even those who will come in the future are called brothers.

3. All the servants of suffering have been fulfilled.

In the Bible, Jesus says that it is all finished. This was not a word that appeared suddenly, but was already foretold. God sent Jesus to save those who were going to be destroyed through him. God received Jesus who died on the cross. We have no more condemnation because salvation has already been accomplished in Christ Jesus. In this way, we should do good works in Christ Jesus. Believing in the one whom God has sent, that is, Jesus, is a good work and the work of God. Therefore, we are saved through faith in Jesus Christ. The cross is a distinct failure, ruin and absurdity. That is, we are a failure, ruin, and absurdity, but He saved us. In this way, the cross appears as an eternal consummation. All the work of atonement was completed on the cross.

I will conclude

The servant of suffering continues to show us the efficacy of the cross for us today. Everyone who fears the Lord, who seeks it, remembers him and returns to him, who kneels and worships him, are believers and are responsible for it. His responsibility is to convey his justice to the people to be born. We will also have to be humble. Satisfaction will come to such a person and will be filled forever. Those who seek the Lord praise him, saying that victory will come, and finally he will give us everlasting hearts. May all of you become victorious children of the Lord.
