The text is Exodus 23:23-26
With the grace of God and the prayers of the saints, I went on a missionary trip with the superintendent and others. This time, while traveling a lot, I went to Casablanca, Morocco, where I saw Muslims reclaiming the beach and building a huge mosque. There was a plaza and annex that could accommodate 20,000 people inside the temple building and 100,000 people outside the building. Excluding the volunteers of Muslim believers, the construction cost was 60 million dollars, which is 60 billion in our money. Their standard of living is only one-tenth of that of our country, with a GNP of 2,000 dollars, but the mosques are so incredibly large and well built. In terms of our economy, it can be said that about 600 billion won of construction was done, and volunteering is equivalent to about 1 trillion won of construction work. Why can Muslims encroach on countries around the world? Because of their absolute devotion to Allah. They have absolute faith only for Allah. Although they have fallen into vain idols, we need to be challenged to see if we really have the same fervent devotion to God as they do.
I pray and look forward to the day when all nations and the world will serve God well.
Why are you ruined? Why was the land of Canaan given to him “because he served other gods”? “Serve God only” is simple. You only need to serve God well. “I will only serve God all my life” The first thing that matters to people living in this world is to serve God. why? Because God made it. Because God is the only true God among all things, because He is the only true God, He is our Lord, Savior, and Father for eternity. do. A representative act of serving God is participating in worship. There is nothing in this world that should take precedence over serving God. This is a very normal thing for people to do. But to those who do the right thing, God has promised a great and great blessing, thankfully. In fact, even if we do not receive such blessings, we must serve God well, but God has promised blessings to those who serve Him well.
First, He brings blessings on food and water. Verse 25 “bringing blessings on bread and water” Food and water are truly important elements in life. As basic daily necessities, if this is not resolved, the quality of life as well as the culture and appearance of life will inevitably be destroyed. No one knows who has never been hungry. Nowadays, it is said that if you eat full, you will get annoyed after a meal, but in the old days, being full was happiness. I pray that you will serve God well and the blessings of food and water will not leave you.
Second, He heals you. Verse 25 “I will remove sickness from among you” The word ‘mahalla’ translated as “sickness” here includes not only physical illness, but also mental illness. If you serve God, the Spirit of God works, so it is difficult for evil spirits, unclean spirits, and demons to approach you. On the other hand, if you worship the gods of the dead, miscellaneous spirits will be active. There is no greater blessing than serving God well. Those who enjoy great blessings will receive minor blessings as an added bonus. One of them is material blessings, and one of them is health blessings. In the past, material well-being was a priority, but in modern times health is a priority. I wish you good health. Just like Grandfather Simeon and the prophetess Anna in Luke 2, it is really good to go to the Lord's kingdom while worshiping in the Lord's temple until the Lord calls you. I pray that the disease will go away from your family, that you and your family will be healthy, that your children will be healthy, and that your children and grandchildren will be healthy.
Third, God bless your children. I know. The hard work of our parents, who lived their lives by putting their children on even if you can't wear them, feeding their children even if you can't eat them, and teaching their children even if you didn't learn! I also know that it is hard to find a greater hope in the hearts of parents than the well-being of their children.
Fourth, verse 26 “I will fulfill the number of days” (I will fulfill the number of days)
The length of life that God has given to each person is different. Some people give you 100 years, but you leave at 70. Then 30 years shorter. Some people gave me 70 years, but I live up to 70 years. So who is more fortunate? It is good to fulfill the days God has given us. If we serve God well, even though we do not know it, God will let us live to the fullest of the days that God has given us.
Dear saints, No matter how good the kingdom of heaven is, unless it is a special emergency such as martyrdom, I pray that you will spend the rest of your days worshiping God and living your life with all your devotion and allegiance. I pray in the name of the Lord that you will be able to serve God well and enjoy ① the blessing of food and water ② the blessing of health ③ the blessing of your children ④ the blessing of longevity.
