Title: Seven Words Imaginary / Luke 23:34
Content ◈ A hard week
The week before Easter Sunday is called Passion Week or Passion Week, and this week is the culmination of the Feast of Passion, which means that it is the week that Jesus suffered. Holy Week begins with Palm Sunday.
◈ Palm Sunday (Sunday of Passion / Sunday of Passion)
It is the Sunday of Jesus' triumphal entry into Jerusalem (Matthew 21:1-11, Mark 11:1-10, Luke 19:28-40, John 12:12-19), and it is also the beginning of the Holy Week. This week is a week to share in the suffering of the Lord more meaningfully.
Palm Sunday is the sixth Sunday in Lent. At one time this Sunday was called "Hosanna Sunday." Also, before this Sunday was associated with Palm Sunday, in the ancient church it was called "Baptismal Applicants' Sunday," a name associated with the preparation of aspirants for baptism at Easter.
Baptism applicants first learned the Christian creed and the Lord's Prayer this Sunday and kept it a secret. This day is also a day to start the week clean by welcoming Jesus, who comes as King, with joy, and thinking about the beginning of Jesus' suffering and death on the cross.
