Sermons for Preaching

Title: Share Me / Mark 8:14-21

There is a Korean proverb that says, "It's okay to eat and die ghosts."

This shows how important it is to eat. Are eating problems important to us?

All. why? Because when you run into an eating problem, you see nothing.

Isn't it said that the second child is the strongest of the children? why? Eat and live.

The top is the eldest and the youngest is the youngest, but the second has nothing to do with it.

That's why I'm trying to live independently and eat well. How dirty is your personality to become an independent soldier?

would you like

Today's text also has a problem with bread, so there is no conversation at all.

The beginning of the Word begins with the disciples forgetting to bring bread.

The disciples looked into the boat and found only one loaf of bread. It was their interest.

But Jesus said, "Beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and the leaven of Herod."

It was a spiritual teaching.

But in verse 16, “I think they say that because there is no bread.” The disciples were like that.

I can't see it because eating is more difficult than trying to understand the meaning of Jesus' words.

Then, doesn't he say through verses 18-19?

There was already an incident of feeding the 4,000 people in 8:1. But the disciples were lost.

Jesus ate. However, they are concerned about the problem of eating quickly.

That's why eating is so important. What did Jesus think of bread?

Let's take a look at Jesus' interest through this event.

First, Jesus liked bread very much.

Try a fast, do you know how boring it is to not have food?

It is tolerable for a day or two, but as time goes on, it becomes really painful.

There is a feeling of helplessness when fasting. Fasting is embarrassing because there is so much time.

That is why bread is so important to us in our life.

As you already know, we humans are made up of spirit, soul, and body. So you need a variety of foods.

do. Our souls must eat the Word to live. What will our soul, or heart, feed on?

They feed on praise and encouragement. So, you try hard to get compliments, but don't you live your life on curses?

To my husband, "I'm pretty!" I did it once and said, "Why is this woman doing this! It's disgusting. Go away!"

Aren't you just taking insults? ^^

And our bodies eat bread. Eating rice cakes makes you healthy.

As we know, Jesus' concern was to save lives. you gave your life for your life

you are person But did Jesus ignore the bread to save lives?

Just look at the Bible, Jesus really liked bread.

What did the Pharisees say when they attack Jesus?

"Those who are greedy to eat and drink!" This is how I arranged it.

When I first received grace, I really thought that I could live without eating bread.

At that time, I stopped doing manga, GoStop, and entertainment. I thought that I should not fall into the world.

In other words, I thought it was wrong to eat rice cakes. But no.

You should also go to karaoke. You should also go to the theater. You should also go to a cafe. Makeup should be pretty

All. You should also eat delicious food. If you don't do this and your faith improves, you really shouldn't

can. But don't many people commit more sins behind the scenes?

Because the world's bread problem is also a problem of life for us.

How serious is the rice cake problem? It's a story everyone knows.

Do you know the prophet Elijah? In 1 Kings 18, we see Ahab and Jezebel suffering.

But he, the prophet, prays to God. "You want me to kill you?" fall into severe depression

is. What will God do then? Sending out the angels and filling them with the Holy Spirit?

no. gave me something to eat. And let it rest.

Then he was freed from spiritual exhaustion. Because they ate food.

The life of Jesus is even more interesting. Jesus almost started with the bread problem and ended with the bread.

All. After fasting and praying for 40 days before starting public life, the devil's temptation was the problem of bread.

Naturally, the devil tempts with the things he is most interested in.

So he told them to make bread out of stones. Jesus loved bread.

The same is true of Jesus' public ministry. It doesn't matter which closet you are.

One time, he and his disciples were walking through a wheat field on the Sabbath. Didn't the disciples eat wheat then?

Then the Pharisees said they had broken the Sabbath. He said he mocked God.

Then Jesus said that rest is for man.

Therefore, he was saying that what people eat is more important.

It is the same after being resurrected after public service.

After Jesus died, the disciples fell into the problem of bread. So they can't even preach

I go back to my hometown and work to make a living. Catch the fish again. But what happens? magazine

I can't. I worked very hard, but I couldn't get it. It's the bread problem.

Then Jesus said, "Throw to the right!" Then came a lot of meat to eat.

You have solved the bread problem.

How important is the rice cake issue? Will we eat food when we go to heaven? Shall we not eat?

What do you do if you don't eat food? praise! Yes. Still, it's fun to eat one meal a day

Shouldn't there be? This is a prediction, but it is certain that we will have a resurrected communion body.

You can still eat it when it is ready. There is an incident where Jesus ate fried fish after he was resurrected.

don't you? That is why bread was so important to Jesus.

Second, the bread belongs to God.

Do you pray when you eat? So how do you pray?

Does the food God give you show true gratitude?

In the Lord's Prayer, Jesus tells his disciples. how to pray.

What were you praying for then? "Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name.

thy kingdom come, and your will be done on earth as it is in heaven."

What is? Yes! He said, "Give us this day our daily bread."

What is the first thing to ask than to ask for forgiveness of sins, to ask that we do not fall into temptation?

how? It is to ask for bread.

Why? Simple. This is what today's text tells us. If the rice cake is not resolved, it is difficult

is. Because if the rice cake problem is not solved, no problem is heard.

But many are trying to solve the rice cake problem on their own.

But that is wrong. Doesn't Jesus give an example?

There was once a foolish farmer. The rice cake problem has been completely solved. I eat a lot of rice cakes

I have lost So I built a warehouse. And I brought it.

Then Jesus said "I will take my soul tonight"

It's all over. Please believe that the bread belongs to God.

The moral of this story is that the bread is God's, so the bread must be divided.

You know when you start farming, but what will the farmer sow to God this time? see you praying

have you ever God tell me when to harvest, I'm sure you'll know

You've never seen a farmer like that? That's right. There are times when things flow according to God's order.

There is a time to harvest. There is no need to pray separately. You just have to be grateful and adapt to it.

God gave me more bread. Then there is no need to pray.

must share. The bread is meant to be shared.

When Jesus prayed for bread, he didn't teach, 'Give me my daily bread.'

He told us to pray, “Give us our daily bread.”

It's a 'we' problem. It is a matter of sharing.

Yesterday, our youth went to a typhoon-affected area. What power would you have there?

However, I believe that they went to share bread because they have hands and feet.

There is no bread for those who have been hit by typhoon floods now. We must share the bread.

Whose is the bread? It is of God.

Otherwise, we are thieves of God. Because I have something to share.

Third, the meaning of bread is learned when it is shared.

We feel the presence of God through worship.

However, this is not only achieved through praise and the Word.

When God created us, He made us feel His presence by sharing.

It's not because I have a lot. Even if you don't have it, you think it belongs to God.

And God's presence can be obtained through those in the lower places.

The meaning of this symbolic bread is obtained through the sacrament.

What is a sacrament? You already know what is doctrinal.

It is the blood and flesh of Jesus. will commemorate You will know this.

However, the sacrament is the table we eat every day.

Because the meaning of each grain of rice we eat is great.

You don't understand. Look here, there's a grain of rice. Who made this?

You eat this. So what do you eat?

character! What happens to all of you who ate this? This rice goes to the flesh or goes to the toilet.

And it flows into the river. They are eaten by worms in the grave.

It turns into water vapor and rises into the sky to become clouds. Some of them flow into the sea.

And the meat is eaten. And we eat the meat. I eat rice cake.

After all, what are we? It is rice cake. We are what we eat.

Jesus loved bread. And it became bread.

Today we meet rice cakes. It is eating the Lord, me.

It is God's grace.

Today we are going to share bread. Share the body of the Lord. is to share me.

Sharing the suffering brothers and sisters.

I hope that the glory of God will be present in this sacrament meeting earnestly. Amen.
