Title: Sit Down and Write
Contents
Dr. Clauser, who wrote the book “A miracle on paper, write it,” said these words at the beginning of the book. "do not be surprised. The moment you move the pen, everything happens like a lie.”
The Bible I read today is a bit of a strange story. A rich man had an employee to manage his property, and rumors spread to the owner that the employee was robbing the property. The owner called the staff and told them to clean up the business because I've heard bad rumors about you and I can't work with you anymore. The servant called the debtors to the master one by one, and had them write fifty for those who had a hundred grains of oil, and eighty for those who owed a hundred stones of wheat. I did it thinking that if I did that, I would not treat myself coldly after I step down from this position. “Sit here quickly, take your deed, and write fifty” (verse 6). Those who owe them spend, so their debt has been cut in half. “Sit quickly and write” What should we write in a hurry?
?? Sit fast and write your goal
We need to write a goal. It is said that 95% of all people do not record their life goals, only 5% do. However, out of the 5% who set their goals, 95% of them achieve their goals.
Recording your goals wakes up your brain. As soon as you record your goal, the wheel of your life begins to turn towards it. Once you've recorded your goal, you'll be prompted on how to achieve it.
I had this experience earlier. In 1975, I started a new church in Busan. As I spent that year in prayer, I made the decision, “In 1976, I will prepare the land and build the temple.” On the first Sunday of the new year, the front page of the bulletin reads “The goal of 76, the year of temple construction. The weekly bulletin went out. I bought 100 pyeong of land in the new year. On December 1 of that year, a groundbreaking service was held and construction began. On the second Sunday of January 1977, we went to the unfinished chapel to worship. That is the power of goal recording. It is true that writing is done.
Recording your goals is a visualization of your wishes. Napoleon Hill said, “Nothing is ready until you believe you can actually get it. You have to have faith, not just hope or hope.”
If you write a goal, you have a goal; if you write a goal, you don't have a goal. Goals create focus. Goals make you do your best.
I can't have it without knowing what I want. Two blind men were sitting by the roadside and heard that Jesus was passing by. Lord, have mercy on us! and shouted. Jesus asked, “What do you want me to do for you?” He said, “Lord, we want our eyes to be opened.” Jesus touched their eyes and they immediately saw (Matthew 20:33-34). You need to know what you want so you can have it. You need to know where you are going to get there.
There is a fear of what to do if it is recorded and not fulfilled. But even if there is no concrete alternative that can be achieved, don't be afraid to write it down. Writing draws the magic that moves and makes God on my side.
When you have a goal, God can help you too. And when I record a target, it triggers my body. When you have a goal, you are dedicated to it. When I commit myself with certainty, God moves. If there is no record, we pass our time daydreaming. There is a difference between those who only fantasize and those who use their imagination. A person who uses the imagination is an actor. A person with a goal is an activist. You come up with an idea, you throw yourself into it, you commit to it, and you put all your energy into making it happen. Goals mobilize means and methods. The means and methods mobilized achieve the goal. Have you ever written a goal before? Sit down quickly and record your goals.
?? Sit down quickly and write the problem
The problem to be written here is to be solved. Worry or worry, complaint or fear is the problem. Debts to be repaid are a problem, and discords that have turned against each other are also issues that need to be resolved.
According to the book of Exodus, when Moses stretched out his hand toward the Red Sea, the LORD caused a strong east wind to pull the sea away all night, and the sea parted and became dry land (Exodus 14:12). It means that the problem was solved when the Red Sea in question was taught by hand. When I pointed out the problem the problem went away.
When you record your anxiety, it goes away. When you record your worries, your worries are bound. To record your fears on paper is to nail them to their place. “How can a man enter the strong man's house and rob him of his possessions unless he first binds him, and only after he has bound him he will rob him” (Matthew 12:29) We must bind fear and anxiety. Anxiety or anxiety must be tied up.
By recording negative thoughts, you release negative energy. Just as a fountain pen runs out of ink, writing down negative thoughts makes them disappear.
Seeing that the children of Israel grumbled against Moses and Aaron, God said to Moses, Have the leaders of the twelve tribes of Israel bring a staff, and then write the name of each tribe. The twelve rods are to be placed in front of the ark of the covenant. One of the twelve staffs will sprout from the staff. So I will destroy the habit of the people of Israel who constantly complain to you.” The next day Moses went into the tent and found that only Aaron's rod sprouted. Moses went out with his staff and showed it to the people. After seeing that only Aaron's rod had sprouted, complaints about the leader disappeared (Numbers 17:1-10). After they used their tribal names, they stopped complaining again.
Jews love to build a history museum of suffering. There are six museums in the United States alone. In answer to the question, “Why do you record the history of suffering?”, he answered, “When we remember the history of suffering, hope comes alive.”
Write the question to get the answer. As the debtor owed 50 words of oil, the debt of 50 was eliminated. Logging problems can help you overcome them. Write down what the problem is and what you want, and that problem is solved. Please sit down quickly and log the problem so the problem goes away.
?? Sit fast and write a prayer
To write a prayer means to write a letter to God. Praying and writing prayers are two different things. If prayers are answered with the mouth, writing prayers is answered with a pen. Written prayer is a prayer that comes from the depths of the heart, so it is the freshest, most profound, and powerful prayer that God moves. When you write down what you want, the impact is powerful.
Write a prayer to break a bad habit. You have a very correct answer. I smoked when I was young. I prayed for him to quit smoking, but that didn't work. Then I wrote a prayer in my diary. “Please stop smoking. Help me." And I wrote blasphemous words. "Hey! Man, if you've decided to quit smoking, you should. Why can't you? If you can't solve it, what are you going to do? If you like it, you should quit.” Write “Indecisive”. Write to me, who is clumsy and unable to cut properly, to ask God to give me determination.
When I was in the military, I did a lot of prayers that I used to pray. We were all awake by ourselves for an hour or two while sleeping. Most of the prayers I wrote during that time were about repentance. Putting it all together, it would have been a book called “The Prayer of Penance.”
Among the psalms recorded in the Bible, David's writings are all prayers. “My God, my God, why have you forsaken me? Why are you far from my help, and do you not hear my groaning? My God, I cry by day, and by night I am not silent, but you do not answer me” (Psalm 22:1-2).
If you go to Israel, you can see many prayers written on the Wailing Wall and placed in the crevices between stones. Jews come there every Friday to pray. Then, he writes down a message dedicated to God and puts it in a crevice of the rock. They believe that the written message has great power. When I first went on a pilgrimage to the Holy Land in 1988, I also buried a prayer note on Mt. Sinai.
There is also a story of a couple who, after having been without children for 7 years after marriage, became pregnant after sticking a piece of paper with the words “I want to have a child” on a wailing wall. If you write your prayers, your prayers will be organized and there will be answers belonging to the organized prayers. Sit fast and write a prayer. I hope that prayer will come true.
In the book of Nehemiah, it says, “For all these things we have now made a firm covenant, written down, and sealed by our princes, our Levites, and our priests” (Nehemiah 9:38).
“Covenant” means “to put in fetters.” It is a promise to keep the promise. It's a memorandum of understanding that you will perform your duties.
Writing down dreams or problems on paper is like declaring war. It is a declaration to challenge a dream or problem. Recording your goals draws solutions to you, solving problems and reaching your goals. When I have nothing prepared, I set a goal and worry about it, so I make a way to a place where there is no road and work through problems to reach my goal.
There is a very easy way to change my life. It is to record my wishes. The way to solve my problem is to log the problem. If you try and hope that the problem will be solved, it will be solved. If you write a problem, it disappears.
It is writing that spurts out the energy to reach the goal. All you need is a piece of paper and a ballpoint pen. Sit down quickly! It is done as you write it. Awaken your potential by writing.
Write your goals and achieve them. Write a problem and hope it gets resolved. Write down your prayers and hope that God will answer them. Write the covenant and put it into practice.
