6 Sutras ⑤ - Be holy
(Leviticus 11:44-45)
(…) I see the wilderness of the 21st century. Taking God's name in vain. Parents are ridiculed, killing is like eating rice. (…) If you look inside, your heart is full of covetousness. Satan leads us into the wilderness and tells us to turn rocks into bread and eat them, but we cannot boldly say, “Go away, Satan” or “I will worship God and I will serve only God.” God wants to heal us. Leviticus is telling those who confessed Jesus as the Christ to live like this in the wilderness. He tells us not to serve all kinds of covetousness as idols and to live holy.(…) This morning I would like to talk about priests and priests who lead us to a holy life.
①Who is the priest (Exodus 28:1~14)
(…) When the New Testament applies the priestly truth of the Old Testament, it has two perspectives. First, Jesus is our high priest.(…) Jesus is the one who took our problems and went before God to solve them. He is the perfect mediator between God and man. Second, the saints are priests.(…) Priests have several qualifications and functions. ㉠ A priest was called by God. ㉡The priest had to put on cleanliness. You cannot do the Lord's work without cleanliness. ㉢The priest was filled with the Holy Spirit and put on robes.(…) Everyone! Do you long for the power of the Lord? The ability to live a holy life and the ability to evangelize are the true powers. Long for this power.(…) Priests are required to be absolutely obedient. The moment a Christian is saved, he enters the school of obedience. The church belongs to Christ, and when we obey the Word, we become a perfect church. Through Christian obedience, Christ is exalted.
