Smooth fellowship of the Holy Spirit / 1 Corinthians 12:4-11
(1) There must be no obstructions to traffic.
Dear saints, Do you want a deep communion with God? There is no other way to fellowship with God. God hates sin. You just need to repent of your sins. All we have to do is confess our sins openly before God. 1 John 1:9 says, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness." You said that if you confess, you will be washed clean, so how grateful are you? Also in Matthew 11:28 it says, “Come to me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” So we have no reason to delay. Please believe that if you come to God and confess any sin, all your sins will be washed away. When the problem of sin is solved in this way, you can have direct fellowship with God. Not one of us is righteous before God. Therefore, we hope that we will repent thoroughly from time to time and have active fellowship with God.
(2) For transportation, there must be an up and down line.
Every road has an ascending line and a descending line. Until a few years ago, the expressway from Gwangju to Suncheon was all one-lane, so you don't know how annoying it was. But now, both the upper and lower lines are open with two lanes, so you can drive comfortably. Those of you who have driven the highway will know that you've always seen cars come and go. Just as so many cars conveniently run on an expensively constructed highway, there must be a spiritual up and down line for smooth traffic between God and me. What is the spiritual ascending line and what is the spiritual descending line before God? That is, our prayers before God are the ascending good, and the words of God we receive every day are the descending good.
God is all-powerful and knows all our needs even if we do not pray, but He answers us only when we pray. Luke 11:13 says, "If you, though evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him." Without praying, the Holy Spirit never suddenly falls from heaven. Therefore, we must pray earnestly to receive the Holy Spirit. We must not forget the fact that all the churches that have been revived so far are prayerful churches. We must not hope for church revival without praying. They should not blame the clergy alone for not praying for the church revival. I believe that if the elders, the former priests, and all the deacons come to church every morning and unite and cry out, it will be amazingly revival.
And believers should always read the Word of God. Because the Word is the food of our soul. 1 Peter 2:1-3 says, “Therefore, putting away all malice and all deceit and hypocrisy and envy and all slander, like newborns, long for the pure milk of the Spirit, so that through this you may grow up to salvation. If you have tasted the mercy of the Lord, do so.” The Word is spiritual milk. Just as a newborn baby needs to receive milk to live, the saints must read the Word to have the spirit to live. You cannot receive God's grace without reading the Word. “For the word of God is living and active, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, of joints and marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart” (Hebrews 4:12). If you read , you will realize your sin and receive grace. Therefore, there must be an ascending line of prayer and a descending line of the Word in order to have round-trip communication of the Holy Spirit.
However, while reading and listening to the Word, you must clearly understand the contents of the Word and read it. What we are reading is about the virgin birth of Jesus. And it is about the atonement of Jesus on the cross. It is also about the fact that Jesus died on the cross, but was resurrected. And I am writing about heaven. It also mentions the baptism of the Holy Spirit and the doctrine of regeneration. And it is saying that the saints are given the power of the Holy Spirit and the mission of evangelism. We are talking about the Second Coming and Judgment of Jesus. Only when you believe in this fact can you become a person who has read the Bible and the Holy Spirit comes upon you. If you believe, read, and pray in such content, you can have smooth communication with the Holy Spirit.
⑶, Economical transportation should not have empty cars.
The biggest reason God sent the Holy Spirit was to help us evangelize. Therefore, it is very wrong for people who claim to have received the Holy Spirit to do unusual things without evangelizing. I hope that all members of our church will pray earnestly and become full of the Holy Spirit and diligently evangelize. Believers and living believers must always live in the fellowship of the Holy Spirit. The early church members obeyed the Word and prayed. As a result, they were filled with the Holy Spirit and changed into powerful believers. Today, we too must become powerful saints of the last days through the full gift of the Holy Spirit.
