Title: Solomon and the Queen of Sheba

Content 1. Words that begin

A person is created by what he loves and pursues. Those who love and pursue physical pleasures eventually become prodigal humans, those who love and pursue riches become wrathful, and those who pursue power become slaves to power and live a life of loss of self. However, those who love and pursue knowledge become scholars, and those who love and pursue wisdom become intellectuals and enjoy a valuable life. The content of this text is the story of King Solomon, the wise man, and the Queen of Sheba, who loved and pursued wisdom.

2. Rumors about Solomon

He obtained the greatest wisdom in history by asking God for wisdom to rule the people he had entrusted to him well, and rumors about Solomon who received various blessings spread widely and became known to neighboring countries.

It is necessary to keep in mind that people, especially those who only know themselves, are subject to gossip whether they like it or not, whether they like it or not. Rumors, which are commonplace, suddenly make the protagonist a celebrity, or, conversely, bury him. Therefore, in order for a person to be human, he sometimes needs to listen to rumors about himself.

Of course, it was his own wisdom and rich blessings that made Solomon so famous. However, another important reason that cannot be overlooked is that the people spread rumors well.

People who are good people make good rumors, but people who spread rumors well make good people.

A daughter-in-law who married in a rural area, I don't know if it is because of the generation gap, but she is displeased with her mother-in-law and disobeys her in everything. By the way, I don't know how well my mother-in-law spreads rumors. If you have a chance to talk to the locals, your daughter-in-law will be praised. Even on the day that she came out upset because of her daughter-in-law, if she saw people, she would praise her. In the neighborhood, rumors spread as Hyobu. So, how embarrassed was the daughter-in-law the first time she heard the rumor? On the other hand, how grateful would you be? In the end, the daughter-in-law became a good daughter-in-law.

Someone said, "PR is the same in English or Korean. What to avoid is to avoid, and what to announce is to inform, well." I used to laugh at it.

One of the reasons why the early church grew so rapidly is rumors. The Apostle Paul said in Romans 1:8, "First of all, I thank my God through Jesus Christ and through you all, because your faith is preached in the whole world." We have nothing to say, because rumors have spread everywhere."

3. The Trial of the Queen of Sheba

Hearing that King Solomon was very wise in all matters, including household affairs and national affairs, the queen of Sheba, an ancient southern Arabian kingdom, came with numerous attendants and brought many gifts. The queen had run through the far wilderness to obtain the wisdom that Solomon had received from God. The queen risked geographic risks for wisdom, risked hordes of bandits, and risked emptying the country. As a leader, she knew all too well the importance of wisdom. Job 28:12-13 says, "But where does wisdom come from, and where does understanding come from, and its price is unknown to man, and cannot be found in an inhabited land." Also, Proverbs 3:15-18 says, “Wisdom is more precious than pearls, and all your longings cannot compare with it. Long life is in his right hand, and riches in his left hand. Peace. Wisdom is the tree of life to those who find it. Blessed is the one who has wisdom." To obtain this wisdom, the queen of Sheba came to King Solomon.

How are you? How diligently do you attend worship services to hear the word of the Lord, who is the repository of God's wisdom and knowledge?

The queen sometimes spoke of difficult problems and all that was on her mind, but none of it was difficult for Solomon.

The queen, who confirmed Solomon’s wisdom through the question and answer, was dizzy and ecstatic when she saw the palace and table food that Solomon had built, the seats of the servants and the civil servants, their public servants, the cupbearers, and the stairs going up to the temple of God. Said: "The rumors that I have heard in my country are true. I did not believe them, but now I have seen and have seen less than half of what you have told me. Your wisdom and blessing are beyond what I heard.

The modern era is an era of hype, where rumors far outweigh reality. Product promotions are noisy, but when you use them, you are often disappointed. Not just things, but people too. Rumors are great, but when you get close to them, there are a lot of people who can only be disappointed. However, our Lord is not like that. No matter how much we hype, the rumors about Jesus Christ cannot be bigger than Jesus Christ. How can a finite human mind comprehend his deep love and wisdom, and how can he explain it all with this little tongue? May your actual faith, love, and wisdom grow bigger than rumors by constantly believing and following that Jesus Christ.

4. Blessed People

After hearing King Solomon's wise answer and leadership, the Queen said, "Blessed are your men, blessed are these thy servants, for always standing before you and listening to your wisdom."

There aren't many people who know what kind of blessing is really valuable and pursue it than you think. Spiritual blessings are more noble than material blessings, and spiritual blessings are more noble than spiritual ones. Colossians 2:3 says that in Christ are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge. Please walk with the Lord, who is the treasure of wisdom, who has longevity and wealth in both hands as well as eternal life.

Next, the queen praised God, saying that God was pleased with Solomon and made him king over Israel, and because he loved Israel forever, he made King Solomon do justice and righteousness.

5. Conclusion

Man is created by what he loves and pursues. The queen of Sheba risked all the dangers to find the wisdom King Solomon had received from God, and had come a long way. However, Christ, who is the treasure of God's wisdom and knowledge to save mankind, came to this earth to meet us. By trusting and following the Lord more and more, I hope you will gain wisdom and enjoy wealth, wealth, long life, and eternal life.
