Title: Son Like Father, Son Less Than Father
Contents
“You have heard it said, ‘I am gone and I am coming to you.
The son who is like the father is the son who will be destroyed, and the son who is younger than the father is the son who will inherit eternal life. A son like his father is a proud and arrogant son, and a son less than his father is a meek and humble son.
Concerning the Son of Perdition, the Bible says, “Do not let anyone deceive you by any means, for it will not come until the apostasy first occurs, and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the Son of Perdition, who opposes, and is in every way called God or worshiped. He exalts himself above himself, and sits in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God” (2 Thessalonians 2:3-4).
The proud and arrogant son is deceiving the whole world in the name of Jesus, and the meek and humble son is also looking for his chosen people in the whole world in the name of Jesus. That is why the Bible testifies that the proud and arrogant Son of Destruction is another Jesus. It is written, “If anyone goes and preaches another Jesus whom we have not preached, or if you receive a different spirit from which you did not receive, or if you receive a different gospel from which you did not accept, you tolerate well” (2 Corinthians 11:4). As you can see, in the world today, proud Jesus like the Father is messing up the house of God.
This is the parable of the Lord Jesus, “While the people were sleeping, his enemy came and sowed weeds among the grain, and went away, and when they sprouted and bore fruit, the weeds also appeared. But the master's servants came and said, "Lord, have you not planted good seed in the field?" Where did the weeds come from? The master said, “The enemy has done this.” The servants said, “Then do you want us to go and pluck them?” The master said, “Hold on, for I am afraid that I will pull up the weeds and pull up grain” (Matthew 13:25-29). something like
Because of this, the arrogant false belief in another Jesus, the Father-like Son, is very prevalent today. That is, Satan, who worked on the first Adam, is still working powerfully among all those who do not believe in the truth and love unrighteousness.
Sin begins with the disobedient son who seeks equality with God, and righteousness begins with the obedient son who empties himself without seeking equality with God. It is written, “Have this mind in you, which was also in Christ Jesus, who, being in the form of God, did not regard equality with God as something to be robbed, but emptied himself, taking the form of a servant, and became in the likeness of men. Being found in human form, he humbled himself and became obedient to the point of death, death on a cross. For this reason God highly exalted him and gave him the name that is above every name, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, At the name of Jesus every knee should bow and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father” (Philippians 2:5-11). He became righteous by obedience to the point of death. Obedience is what the little ones do to the great ones. This is the truth.
For this reason God highly exalted him and gave him the name that is above all names. Everyone who believes in this Jesus can become one with this Jesus. But other Jesus, another spirit, other gospel believers cannot become one with the meek and humble Jesus.
All things are waiting for the meek and humble sons of God to appear, not the proud and haughty sons of perdition. It is written, “The creation awaits the manifestation of the sons of God, for it is not his will that the creation submits itself to futility, but only through the one who submits it. to the liberty of the glory of the children” (Romans 8:19-21).
Therefore, the kingdom of God is a humble kingdom in which sons less than their fathers will dwell with Christ Jesus. It is written, "When all things are put in subjection to him, then the Son himself will also be subject to him who put all things in subjection to him, so that God, Lord of all, may be in all" (1 Corinthians 15:28). It is the same as, “Truly, truly, I say to you, a servant is not greater than his master, and the one sent is not greater than the one who sent him. Our Lord who is less than the Father who sent him! Thank you.
