The Song of Songs is a love poem of King Solomon that blooms like a flower in the relationship between King Solomon and the Shulammite woman. One of Solomon's fifteen most beautiful poems on the market, called "Song of Songs". The psalm is traditionally interpreted as a song about the relationship between Christ and his beloved Church. Solomon in today's text is a request of love that he desperately wants for his beloved Shulammite.
1. My love, my pretty girl, get up and go together
Among the acts of love, the most beautiful thing can be said to be dong-godong-rak. It is better when the mind and body are together, but in reality, it is even more earnest when the mind and body are together.
Why is the Lord asking us to go together? Because winter is over. In fact, the gospel is alive and breathing even in the harsh winter, but from the history of Korea, the season of the gospel is so ripe that it is now past spring and close to summer. If you preach the gospel and believe in Jesus, you may face the same persecution as in the cold winter, but now you can see that the flowers of the gospel have bloomed on Mt. However, there are still many believers in the same winter as the harsh winter of the gospel.
The place the Lord is asking us to go together is to spread the gospel to the ends of the earth. For prayers to Gethsemane. The Gethsemane prayer is a way of sacrifice that takes up the cross to Golgotha and kills you thoroughly.
2. My dove, let me see your face.
The bride's face is very beautiful. For Solomon who is in love, the bride's face is a lovely face that never gets tired of looking at it. This refers to the face of the saints whose sins have been forgiven by the blood of Jesus. Saints must remember. How the Lord wants to see my face! The groom wants to see the bride's face, so the bride-to-be must show the Lord the following face.
A face of contrite tears, a face of grateful joy, a face of sweaty service.
3. Let your voice be heard
The bride's face should be beautiful and her voice should also be soft. The gentle voice of the saints that the Lord wants to hear is to hear the voice of Jesus boasting. It is the voice of the saints who preach the gospel.
It is a voice of prayer and praise. It is the sound of love between the saints. Let's get up and go together. God wants revival in the church. Why will the revival be delayed? Is it because of God?
