Title: Song of the Night

When the masters of the servants saw that their hope of self-interest had been cut off, they took Paul and Silas, and took them to the rulers as authors.
He brought them before the superiors and said, These are Jews, and they have greatly disturbed our city.
It is said that we, as Romans, preach customs that we cannot accept or practice.
The crowd got up all at once and complained, but the superiors told them to rip their clothes off and beat them with rods.
After hitting him many times, put him in prison and tell the jailer to keep him safe.
And when he received this spirit, he imprisoned us in a deep prison, and stole their feet securely in cages.
About midnight, Paul and Silas were praying and praising God, and the prisoners listened.
Then suddenly there was a great earthquake, and the roof moved, and all the doors were opened immediately, and everyone's bonds were taken off.
The jailer woke up from his sleep, saw the prison gates open, thought that the prisoners had escaped, and drew his sword and was about to kill himself.
Paul cried out in a loud voice, saying, “Do not hurt yourself, for we are all here.”
The jailer asked for a lamp and ran in, trembling in fear, and fell down before Paul and Silas.
And they brought them out and said, Teachers, what must I do to be saved?
He said, Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you and your household will be saved.
The word of the Lord was preached to the man and to all the people in the house.
At that hour of the night, the jailer took us and washed the places where they were beaten, and after he and his household were baptized, he took us up to his house and prepared food for us.
