Therefore faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of Christ (Romans 10:17).
Attention
What am I interested in in my daily life, and what do I listen to a lot? Depending on the content and amount of what I hear, the shape of my life is bound to change. Occupation is also determined accordingly. That's why my parents started doing things like pork rib bossam, sashimi, side dishes, and private academies. It also determines what kind of jobs our children will have. The same goes for student grades. How many subjects you have taken, how much you have filled, and how much your grades go up or down is determined by how many subjects you have taken, such as English, Mathematics, and so on.
Good and bad
But Jesus makes an important point in this regard. It is a matter of good and evil.
(Luke 6:44-46) 44) “Every tree is known by its fruit, neither figs from thorns nor grapes from briers. 45 A good person brings forth good out of the treasure of his heart, but an evil person (46) Why do you call me, Lord, Lord, and do not do what I say?”
There are things that deserve more attention than any profession or grade. ‘Am I really doing good? Are you doing evil?’ What is good and what is evil? Recognizing Jesus, the Good Shepherd, as my Lord, seeking and following His will is good, and following anything other than Jesus is deceived by the devil and Satan, and that is evil.
Fruit
Am I full of good things in me? Are you full of evil? What is filled in the mind and thoughts changes actions, actions change habits, habits change character, and character changes the whole of life. It will appear as a fruit in his life. What fruit do I want my life to bear? I bless you that you will bear the fruit of obedience to the Lord more abundantly than the fruit of wealth and glory. In that case, he will give you amazing wealth and wealth as a bonus.
obedience
That's right. A life of confessing Jesus as my Lord and obedience to the Lord is goodness, and this is what the life of faith looks like. It doesn't matter how long you've been to church, it's how much you live a life of obedience to Jesus.
belief
If you want to live a life of obedience, what is important? Faith. When you have faith in the Lord, you will obey the Lord. To have that belief, you need to hear something. What? We must listen to the words of Christ. That way your faith will grow. I need to fill my heart with the words of Christ. When you hear the word of Christ, you will be saved. The more you listen, the more your faith grows. Am I listening to the word of the Lord?

Jesus said that my sheep hear my voice.
(John 10:1-5) 1) “Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever does not enter the sheepfold by the door but goes through is a thief and a robber 2) He who enters through the door is the shepherd of the sheep 3) The gatekeeper He opens the door for him, and the sheep hear his voice, and he calls each of his sheep by name and leads them out. 4) After he has laid out all his sheep, he goes ahead and follows them, because they know his voice; 5) they do not know the voice of others. Therefore, they do not follow others, but run away.”
Am I the Lord's sheep? Then we must listen to the voice of the Lord. All the sheep's needs are met through the shepherd's voice. All of our needs are also met through the voice of the Lord, the word of the Lord. When I hear the voice of the Lord, my life becomes rich, but when I do not listen to the voice, I experience ruin and failure.
power of faith
When we have faith by hearing the words of Christ, faith shows great power. Jesus said that if you have faith, you can tell the mountain to be lifted up and thrown into the sea. If you pray with faith, you will receive everything. This is greater than the power of wealth and glory. It is the ability to transcend everything.
(Matthew 21:20-22 22) “When the disciples saw it, they marveled, saying, “Why did the fig tree dry up immediately?” Jesus answered and said to them, “Truly, I say to you, if you have faith and have no doubts, Not only can you say to this mountain, 'Be lifted up and thrown into the sea,' 22) And whatever you ask in prayer, believing and asking, you will receive."
That's right. As a parent, we need to share a lot of love with our children and as a friend, but ultimately we must hear the word. Only then will you have faith.
