Sermons for Preaching

Title: Speak Life

2013. 9. 29 Sunday morning worship service

Bible: Acts 19:13-16

Title: Speak Life

Acts 19:13-16 ‘13. Then some Jews who were wandering around with sorcery tried to tempt them and called on the name of the Lord Jesus, saying, "I command you by the Jesus whom Paul preaches..."

16. And the man possessed with a demon jumped on them and overcame them; and they fled from the house naked and wounded.' -Amen.

What should be the words that speak the truth? There must be life.

1. Words as communication

It is said that words as a means of human communication through speech and language are said to make 5 million words in a lifetime, but it varies from person to person, but women average about 6,000 words a day and men say 2,000 words. Neurology refers to the language central nervous system in the brain as having a strong influence on all nervous systems. The language central nervous system of the brain is said to have two parts, the Wernicke area for understanding speech and the Broca area for making speech. It is said that when the patient is so shocked that he is unable to speak, he should continue to talk and have him speak. That is how life can be saved.

When speaking as a medium to convey meanings and ideas, you will have to do the best of what you say depending on the person you are talking to. Just like the proverb that says you can pay off a thousand nyang debt with a single word, you need to speak well.

James 3:2 “We all make many mistakes, and if anyone makes no mistakes in what he says, he is a perfect man, able to bridle even his whole body.”

Colossians 4:6 “Let your speech always be with grace, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how you ought to answer each one.”

2. Speak lifelike words

The Jewish magician in the text tried to cast out demons under the guise of Jesus' name, but what he suffered was to confirm that his words had no life and that Paul's words were the power of the Holy Spirit. Today's positivists are engrossed in the devil's game of trying to take away the believers' faith in the right word through magical preaching.

They often say in Mark 11:23, “...If anyone says to this mountain, ‘Be taken up and thrown into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, believing that what he says will come true, it will be done for him.”

Proverbs 18:20 “A man is filled with the fruit of his mouth, and he is satisfied with what comes out of his lips.”

The Jews were good at talking. It sounded like God's will. But,

Matthew 23:3 “Therefore, whatever they say, do and observe; do not imitate what they do, for they speak only, and do not

Preachers absolutely pray a lot for preaching. Otherwise, no matter how good the sermons are, we will not be able to win spiritually, so we pray for the filling of the Holy Spirit. The reason that the Lord's words were unique is because they have vitality.

Matthew 7:29 “For he taught as one having authority, not as their scribes.”

John 6:63 “It is the Spirit that gives life; the flesh is of no avail. The words I have spoken to you are spirit and are life.”

God created the world with His Word. The Word had the vitality of life, so it worked. Jesus is the Word of life who came in the flesh. The reason that people killed but had no choice but to live again is because He is the Lord of the Word. The word of the Lord does not pass away from the air

Isaiah 55:11 “So the words that go out of my mouth do not return to me in vain, but do the purpose of my pleasure, and prosper in the work I sent.”

John 12:48 “There is one who will judge him who rejects me and does not listen to my words, and the words I have spoken will judge him at the last day.”

The Bible is the word of life. We hope that our hearts will be filled with the words of the Bible. We always pray that the words we say become living words, and we want to evangelize and communicate. Only then will the true history of horses happen.
