Title: Spirit of Life

Contents

The content of the text is 1 Corinthians 15:42-49

You attended a truly meaningful Sunday worship service today. The weekly worship service is related to the resurrection of Jesus, but today is especially meaningful as it is a worship service on Easter Sunday that commemorates the resurrection of Jesus 2000 years ago. Let's glorify the risen Lord with applause. Jesus is alive again! Resurrected!!

Traditionally, worship in the Old Testament was held on the Sabbath. The Sabbath is a day consecrated to commemorate the day when God created everything and rested in order to commemorate the creation of the heavens and the earth. The Ten Commandments of Moses also commanded us to remember the Sabbath and keep it as a holy day. The Sabbath is Saturday as the day of the week. That is why Adventists insist that even though the Old Testament era has passed and the New Testament era has come, we should continue to worship on Saturday instead of Sunday. However, if the Sabbath is a worship day to commemorate the creation of the heavens and earth, Sunday is a worship day to commemorate the resurrection of Jesus Christ.

Jesus was crucified on Friday, was in the tomb on Saturday, the Sabbath, and was resurrected early in the morning on the first day after the Sabbath (Sunday). That is why Christians worship Sunday, calling it the Lord's Day or Sunday, to commemorate Sunday as the day of the Lord's resurrection, the day of victory when the Lord broke the power of death and rose again. For us who live today, Sunday is the day that Jesus rose again, the day he triumphed, the day he destroyed the devil, and the day he showed us the resurrection of life again. Therefore, those who celebrate Sunday holy water have faith in the resurrection, and those who have faith in the resurrection value Sunday holy water. Jesus is the Lord of the Sabbath set by the law and is more precious than the Sabbath. Therefore, it is appropriate to worship on Sunday to commemorate the resurrection of Jesus. I hope that the blessings of descendants and descendants will come to all the members who worship and celebrate the resurrection of Jesus today through the faith of the resurrection through the holy water.

The event of the resurrection is the truth and gospel unique to Christianity that cannot be found in other religions. This is because in the resurrection there is the power of life of God, the victory of Jesus, and the eternal life of the saints. Today's text refers to the resurrected Jesus Christ as “a life-giving Spirit.” The life-giving spirit is not just the level of the spirit of the first man, Adam, who lives. The first man, Adam, is a living spirit, but the last Adam, Jesus Christ, is a life-giving spirit. The event of the resurrection by which Jesus rose again is very natural. As the source of life, it can save others, but because Jesus Himself could not be dead, as He said during His lifetime, He came to life and became the firstfruits of those who slept, the fruits of resurrection. And he promised us resurrection. Therefore, all who believe and receive Him as the Savior will participate in the resurrection of eternal life.

resurrection! Resurrection is largely divided into the resurrection of eternal life and the resurrection of judgment. The resurrection of eternal life is the resurrection of those who believe, and the glory, joy, praise, crown, and blessing of the kingdom of heaven await. But the resurrection of judgment is the resurrection of unbelievers, and the judgment, punishment, suffering, and curse of hell await. The resurrection spoken of in today's text is the resurrection of eternal life, the resurrection of those who believe. It is the same with the resurrection of the dead. We are receiving the words from verses 35-41 before saying, “It is like this.” He said that “if a seed falls to the ground and dies, it is not damaged, but as it sprouts and grows and bears fruit in another form, so it is better.” “It is sown in perishableness, it is raised incorruptibility, it is sown in dishonor, it is raised in glory, it is sown in weakness, it is raised in strength; it is sown in a physical body, it is raised in a spiritual body. There is.” When we live in the world, we live in a physical body. But when we leave this world and live in that heaven, we live in a spiritual body. This is the resurrection body.

Dear brothers and sisters, on Easter Sunday, I hope that you will think and yearn for Jesus Christ, who is in the center of the faith of the resurrection. I hope you will meet that Jesus and give thanks. Like the resurrected Jesus, I hope you live in the hope of resurrection. Our spirit lives in Jesus. Jesus alone is the way, the truth, and the life. Hallelujah!
