spirit of adoption

The son born to Jeongsil's wife is called the youngest son, and the son born to Sosil's is called the illegitimate son. A man who is brought up in a household without a son in order to pass on from one generation to another is called an adoption. An adoptee is an adoptee who has obtained the qualifications of a child by adoption. Jesus is the child of God, and we are the children of God.

The New Testament describes the relationship between saved believers and God in terms of adoption. “Therefore, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh to live according to the flesh” (verse 12). The saved saints are debtors. We owe what God has adopted us to be. “Even if I pay it off for the rest of my life, I will become a debtor and repay the Lord’s debt by preaching the gospel and preaching the gospel…” is the song of “The debtor”

The spirit of adoption is the life-giving spirit.

“If you live according to the flesh, you will surely die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live…” (verse 13) “According to the flesh” here refers to the “sin nature” of the old man before adoption. “It is the spirit that gives life; the flesh is useless.” In order to become God's adopted son and enjoy the right to be the Son of God, we must kill the spirit before adoption.

If I kill the deeds of the body, I live; if I do not kill, he kills me. The deeds of the body are sin, and the penalty for sin is death. The deeds of the body are evil deeds. It is the desire and impulse that leads to sin and shame, to ruin and death. To kill means to execute. The power that kills the deeds of the body is the “Spirit”. The Holy Spirit gives power to kill and subdue the power of evil deeds. That is the spirit of both.

The important thing is that we must make a willful effort to destroy the power of sin. When we willfully seek to deny evil deeds, the Holy Spirit seeks to kill the power and impulse of evil deeds. If we do not want to put to death the deeds of our bodies, but continue to live in the sins of the flesh, and do not want to communicate with the Spirit, the Spirit does nothing for us.

The value needed to succeed is determination rather than great talent. The will to persevere in the task is more important than the strength to push it forward. Willpower is the power of personality itself. The spirit of adoption is the spiritual will, and the will is the driving force of action and the power of the soul that makes all efforts possible.

When you receive the spirit of adoption, your heart turns to God. Trust and love God. A will arises to kill the deeds of the body. The thing to remember here is that killing the deeds of the body is not a one-time thing. It's a battle that goes on for the rest of your life. We must continue to pursue the Spirit and continue to kill the deeds of the body.

The spirit of adoption makes them sons of God.

“Everyone who is led by the Spirit of God is a son of God” (verse 14), “they are the sons of God” (Romans 8:14).

When you show what you receive, you prove that you are the Son of God. A 17-year-old boy tried to commit suicide by jumping from a roof. His father is an alcoholic, and his mother ran away long ago. A gentleman went up to the roof and begged for an hour and a half. Same word. “Come as mine, and I will be your father.” The boy became his son in his arms. He became adopted. Everything he needed was supplied by his stepfather.

If you receive the spirit of adoption, you will not fear God. The kid running around freely in the White House is the president's son. Why? Because the president is his father. Because it's your home. “You received no more the spirit of bondage to fear, but you received the spirit of adoption, and we cry out, Father, Father” (verse 15).

The Apostle Paul said that he received the spirit of adoption. whose spirit is it? It is the Spirit of God, and it comes from the Son. My heart is that God is my Father. That is the spirit of adoption. The spirit of adoption is the heart of the Father.

We need confidence in being adopted. To do that, you need to know the principles of Roman quantum law. First, after adopting, he loses all the rights he had in his old family. It has nothing to do with your former home. No matter how great or small the rights to the former house are, as long as you have left that house and came to this house as an adopted child, you have given up all your previous rights. Second, legally adopted adoptees are completely freed from the obligations as well as the rights of the former family. Third, the adoption becomes the child of the new father, regardless of whether he was previously a slave, a nobleman, a beggar, or a rich man. Nero was the adopted son of Emperor Claudius, and when Claudius died, he succeeded him as emperor. Fourth, living with the stepfather gives them new rights as well as new responsibilities.

Theologically speaking, this is a “connection of relationships.” By becoming God's adopted son, a father-son relationship and family relationship were established. The spirit of adoption is God's “Dad! Call him “father” Because they have received the spirit of adoption. When Jesus prayed to God, he said, “Father, Father, all things are possible with you; remove this cup from me. But not as I will, but as you will” (Mark 14:36). If you receive the spirit of adoption, you will receive God as your father, just like Jesus, who is your real son! It means you can call him father. “Because you are sons, God sent the Spirit of the Son into our hearts, Father! called Father” (Galatians 4:6).

The spirit of adoption reciprocates.

“We are debtors, not to the flesh to live according to the flesh” (verse 12). There is a saying, “sinners in debt.” “…If you are in debt, you are a slave to the debtor” (Proverbs 22:7).

There is a very short poem written by Insuk Hwang. “Why live? Why live..... Trauma value” That's all. It means that you live to pay off the “credit value.” The amount of credit he refers to is not the money to be repaid, but the amount of love and grace received.

A woman, carrying her baby on a cold winter night, was on her way home over the mountain, but was lost in strong winds and heavy snow. The next day, rescue teams found the woman. But the woman took off all her clothes and put them on the baby. The baby was alive in the arms of its dead mother. This child grew up and passed the bar exam. On the day of the celebration, I could finally hear from my uncle about the great death of my mother. The one who survived the world because of that great mother is David Lord George. He served as British Minister of Arms during World War I. He is also a strong leader who established the foundations of the UK social security system. His message to the desperate British is still on the lips of the British. "Everyone! Don't be afraid to take big steps. You cannot cross the canyon with two small steps. It must be a big step to cross the Valley of Crisis.” He had the spirit of a son, and as a result of his efforts to repay his mother's grace, he gave back to society and contributed to the country.

“If children, then heirs, heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, as we must suffer together in order that we may be glorified with him” (verse 17).

David had the spirit of a son. We are the adopted children of God. When we have the spirit of adoption, the character of our children will be nurtured and we will glorify God.

“We must also suffer with him in order that we may be glorified with him.” The strength to overcome suffering comes from the spirit of adoption. The apostle Paul was a debtor.

“Therefore, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, not to live according to the flesh” (verse 13). The way to pay off and pay off debt to the barbarians was seen as preaching the gospel.

Only the spirit of adoption can kill the deeds of the body. You must have the spirit of adoption to call God, “Daddy! You can call him “father.” You must have the spirit of adoption to become the father's heir. You must have the spirit of adoption to receive the glory of the Son. You must have the spirit of adoption in order to suffer for that glory.
