Bible Text: Genesis 13:14-18
spiritual entrepreneur
In a city there was a craftsman who made watches. He'd been making watches all his life, but now he's old and he can't work anymore, so he organizes his work and makes the world's only watch for his son. The watch's second hand is made of gold, the minute hand is made of silver, and the hour hand is made of copper. The son took the watch that his father had made, looked at it carefully and asked, “Father, I think the second hand should be copper. Is the second hand gold?” My father said, "The watch I made to give you is the best watch I've ever made. The fact that the second hand is made of gold means that one second is the most precious.” The watch was a heirloom from a father to his son.
A corporation is a property or business that is inherited from ancestors. The inheritance the Bible speaks of is the kingdom of God and eternal life given through Jesus Christ. God's spiritual blessings and all the blessings of the earth. Abraham is a spiritual entrepreneur. God raised him to be an entrepreneur. A spiritual entrepreneur is someone who has an inheritance from God and uses that heritage as capital. What are the conditions for a spiritual entrepreneur?
A person with a vision.
Spiritual entrepreneurs have a God-given vision. The Lord took Abram out and made him look up to heaven and said, “So shall your descendants be” (Genesis 15:5). This is a God-given vision. A person with a vision sees things that are not in the real world. The vision is to see the prosperous descendants looking at the stars in the sky.
God spoke to Abraham. “...Lift up your eyes and look from where you are, east, west, north, south and east” (verse 14). These words are to make Abraham a spiritual entrepreneur. Vision is the power that leads to greatness. After Lot left, the command to look east, west, north, and south means to turn to the direction that God showed that Lot could not see. A visionary is someone who sees what others cannot see. Great achievements are the product of imagination. You have the intuition to see things that others can't see. Vision is the insight to see what the eye cannot see. A person with a vision goes beyond today and looks forward to tomorrow. Having a vision is the same as saying that there is a future. It has the ability to see something far away with a telescope.
To live your best life, you have to have a vision. To reach your potential, you need to have a vision. We must look up and look forward with the eyes of faith. To have a vision is to have God's promises in your heart. It is imagining yourself trusting the God who has promised you and leaping to a higher and wider stage.
To live your best life, you need to have a healthy self-image. We must create a new and healthy self-image with the Word of God. You can't be more than your own image. David described his image as a green olive tree. “But I am like a green olive tree in the house of God; I will trust in God’s mercy forever” (Psalm 52:8).
To live your best life is to discover the power of your thoughts and words. Satan's target is our thoughts. We must not let Satan control our thoughts and words. Thoughts determine actions and attitudes. God abounds in what we think and say. If the vision guides me, I am a spiritual entrepreneur.
A person who has faith.
Spiritual entrepreneurs have faith. You have a strong belief that you can achieve your vision. “Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen, and by this the forefathers obtained evidence” (Hebrews 11:1-2). “I will give to your descendants the land that is visible, and it will last forever” (verse 15). As Abraham listened to the word of God, he raised his eyes, looking east, west, north and south. The land you see is someone else's land. He promises to give other people's possessions to you and your descendants. How do you believe it? “...with man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible” (Matthew 19:26). Faith in God's promise is a spiritual entrepreneur. It is believing that the land will be mine, as God has said. I believed when I heard the word. Faith comes from hearing (Romans 10:17).
Unbelief is the problem. “Jesus said to him, “If you can, what do you mean? “Nothing is impossible for those who believe” (Mark 9:25). “Because of your little faith, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to separate mountains, “Remove it and move it,” and it will move, and nothing will be impossible for you.” (Matthew 17:20)
Spiritual entrepreneurs have faith as their capital. Invest that capital and manage your life. Abraham was a spiritual entrepreneur. “By faith Abraham, when he was called, obeyed and went out to a land that he was to receive as an inheritance, and went out, not knowing where he was going…for he was looking for a city that God had designed and built upon him” (Hebrews 11:8, 9). ) Abraham was promised the land of Canaan as an inheritance. A spiritual entrepreneur is a capital of faith. What he believes determines his actions, and his actions determine the future.
Confidence is key to success and greatness. That confidence comes from faith. A stubborn belief system is at work for the spiritual entrepreneur. You can't do anything without a firm belief in yourself. Spiritual entrepreneurs do not allow negative factors to invade. He is always overly confident. They ignore negative things when they come in. He defends and rejects any pessimistic thoughts from entering his head. When someone says “You can’t!”, they say “Why not!” and immediately ignore it.
Former British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher has a question for new members of the party. “Are you always going to be with us?” Those who pretended to answer the question were not invited. Thatcher does not work with people who distrust her beliefs.
Jesus, follow me! He said if anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross and follow me. Spiritual entrepreneurs are people of faith. The heart must not be weakened. Your faith must not be shaken. There should be no doubt. “He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all, how will he not also with him give us all things?” (Romans 8:32)
A person who has practice.
Spiritual entrepreneurs are practitioners. I'm not a tabletop talker. He is a practitioner who clears wasteland to create green forests and builds buildings on the ashes of ruins. “Arise, walk through the land in length and breadth, and I will give it to you” (verse 17). “...I have given you all the places where the soles of your feet tread...and it will be your limit” (Joshua 1:3-4). It means to tread on the ground that God has given you. People say they run on their feet. Do you run with your feet or your hands?
Jesus also went and preached the gospel. “As we go to other nearby villages, we will preach there as well, for this is why I have come” (James 1:38). A spiritual entrepreneur is not a noun sitting at a desk, but a verb in jeans. It's about going to a place you've never been to. It's about doing something you've never done before.
The term entrepreneurship is used synonymously with the spirit of taking risks. Because all of the world's entrepreneurs risk their lives with untested ideas. They take risks and take risks even when it seems like they don't need to be challenged.
The Israelites had to cross the Jordan River to occupy the land of Canaan. Crossing the Jordan River was dangerous and terrifying. The Jordan River symbolizes the river of death. Only by crossing the river of death can we reach the welfare of Canaan. Spiritual entrepreneurs always want to move forward. Someone who takes a challenge and finds adventure rewarding.
Traditioners fear change, but spiritual entrepreneurs enjoy change. They are creative and innovative. Sometimes I feel like a loner. It is because they move according to their own standards, which are not socially agreed upon. Different thoughts, different actions. Socrates said, “How can you be a poet if you are sane? You have to get inspired and go crazy to be a poet.”
Success is not achieved by doing what you learn in school. Experts have a different opinion than ordinary people. Fear and security are opposites of the creative process. Helen Keller said, "You can't achieve anything in life unless you challenge yourself every day." You can fall while jumping rope, or you can sprain your leg if you do it wrong. You can't jump rope without taking that risk.
The rewards and risks are directly proportional. The lower the risk, the lower the reward, and the higher the risk, the higher the reward. Eliminating risk eliminates chances of success. To live without all risks is to refuse to grow and develop. Pursuing safety and stability leads to a helpless life. God wants to make Abraham a spiritual entrepreneur. We are the descendants of Abraham. Let us too become spiritual entrepreneurs. I hope that you will continue to do business with God's promised enterprise. Heaven belongs to the violent.
A spiritual entrepreneur is a person of vision. I want you to draw a ‘V’ in your mind. You must live with Vision, Venture, Victory, Fantasy, Adventure, and Victory.
Spiritual entrepreneurs are people of faith. Don't be a believer, but be a believer. Believe it. If you do, it will be done for you! (Mark 11:24) It is Abraham's faith that he hoped for the unbelievable, believed the unbelievable, and became what he believed. Like Abraham, I hope you will become a spiritual entrepreneur with faith. I hope that you will become a spiritual entrepreneur through the practice of faith. Faith without works is dead faith. A spiritual entrepreneur is a person of action.
