Title: Stand firm and not shaken... (Psalm 93)
Contents How do you know about God?
The author of the Bible who wrote Psalm 93 tells us that God created the heavens, earth, and the universe, and He resurrected them, and He still reigns. That's right. God is the One who created the heavens, the earth, and the universe, and is still in control. "Jehovah reigns..." This world, where God reigns, is firm and unshakable. "...the world is also established and is not shaken" (verse 1).
God created the world perfectly in the beginning. It was a perfect world that no longer needed to be supplemented or modified. Such a world is now suffering from unexpected disasters everywhere. All this is due to human error. This is because sin entered the world in which people live, and because of that sin, people disturbed God's creation order.
So are people. When God first created Adam and Eve, they were perfect people. He was a perfect being, without any sin or blemish. The moment Adam and Eve disobeyed God's word and deviated from God's rule, sin entered them, and death came as a result of sin.
We must be under the rule and rule of God. The moment we deviate from God's rule and rule, we have no choice but to walk in the path of sin, and the end of that path is death.
To live under God's rule and rule means to obey and live by God's Word.
May you be obedient to God's Word today and live under God's rule.
Individuals governed by God, families, churches, and nations governed by God stand firm and never be shaken.
It should be me and all of you who live a day-to-day life that stands firm under God's rule and does not move.
However, when people broke out of God's rule and began to commit sins, sin entered the world and God's creation order began to crumble. The environment is destroyed and disasters occur everywhere.
