The Apostle Paul wants the Thessalonian church to live a life of faith with an upright eschatological view. His writings are especially useful for those of us living in the end times. The text presents what you need to know in order not to be deceived by a deceiving spirit. And it also suggests ways to overcome the challenge of heresy.

2. Recognize God's Sovereignty
Satanism is a clear sign of the end. Even the son of lawlessness can obtain the power of Satan to perform visible miracles (powers, signs, wonders). Therefore, it is not the miracle that matters, but the origin of the miracle is more important. The Son of Law will bring those who perish to judgment. Therefore, in order to discern the timing of the Second Coming and the Son of Law, we must have faith in God's sovereign rule. Those who refuse to accept the truth and fall for Satan's tricks because they love injustice will worship Satan instead of God. The saints must acknowledge and trust the absolute sovereignty of God in all circumstances and hold onto only Jesus Christ, who is the truth.
3. Faith to Overcome Heresy
The saints must have a clear faith in salvation. God foreordained salvation before creation. Those who have been saved through faith will receive the glory of Christ. If you are armed with faith, there is no need to worry no matter what difficulties you face. Because the hardships you face become the evidence of salvation The saints face persecution while living on this earth, but they gain strength from God's comfort and hope. The source of spiritual vitality of the saints is God. Therefore, while we are in this world, we must be people who glorify us by obeying the Word. I hope you will establish the right faith and live the perfect life that God wants in the end times.
The deceitful spirit is still at work strongly not only in the days of the apostle Paul, but also today. The saints must have the insight to discern the times through the Word and be sure of God's absolute sovereignty. Please do not be swayed by any temptation and hold fast to the way of salvation.

1. Help me to discern the times through the Word, gain insight, and live with confidence in God's absolute sovereignty!
2. May the river of living water overflow from the Jebut pulpit, so that the knowledge of the Lord may fill the whole world!
3. Heal the weak members of the church and save the unbelieving families so that they can achieve the fame of faith!
