Title: Statement of Zophar (Job 11:1-6)
It is sad that even wise and good people sometimes become radical by the heat of argument. One of Job's friends, Eliphaz, was very polite (4:2). And Bildad was a bit harsh on Job (8:2). However, Zophar is ruthlessly attacking Job and using very harsh words. When he sees Job asserting his innocence, he rebukes him. Job did not claim his ignorance. He just replied, "I'm not the sinner you say." There are times when I thought I knew something about something, but later I realized that I didn't know anything about it. In this case, it is called an illusion, and there are many cases in which an illusion causes harm to others or to oneself. In fact, not knowing is worse than not knowing. Therefore, we should not judge others according to our own thoughts.
1. Know that the hand of the Lord has done it (Psalm 109:27) One of the great misconceptions that people tend to fall into is the thought that they did everything themselves. The business is built by oneself, the money is earned by oneself, achievements are built by oneself, and the public is established by oneself. However, those who have matured in faith realize that all these things were accomplished not by themselves, but by the hands of God. So, we give thanks to God. It is God who made the business prosperous, it is God who gave us wealth, and it is God who gave us health. If you were born half-paraplegic or an idiot, even if I had some talent, it would have been a dream that I would never have dared to dream of. Nevertheless, the vast majority of people are caught up in huge delusions and delusions. It means that he expelled God from his life and accomplished everything by himself. This is more arrogant than the idea of being born and raised in the world without parents.
2. Know that God is hospitable to you (Psalm 13:6) One of the biggest reasons people do not thank God is that God has not treated them generously. He gives health and peace to the people in front of him who are not as kind-hearted as he does, but it is a series of disasters in his house. Even his friends who are less intelligent than him are also successful and successful, but he is not like that. So they complain and turn away from God. They will perish by their own folly. There are people in the world who think that they are being treated unfairly by God, and there are people who think that they are receiving excessive hospitality from God and live their whole life in awe. Which of these two are you? Perhaps you think that my family is not as wealthy as the others, and that my life is not as smooth as other people's. But even so, don't try to compare yourself to others. If you think about what you have done and what God has given you and give thanks instead, God will treat you generously.
3. Know that all things work together for good (Romans 8:28) There are many twists and turns in a person's life. There are days and nights in living 24 hours a day, and there are four seasons, summer, autumn and winter in living 12 months a year. How much less can a person hope that there are no ups and downs in their life? There are times when they are flat, but there are times when they are faced with adversity, and times when they are happy but when they are heartbroken. However, just as food of various colors is evenly mixed to supply the nutrients necessary for the human body, prosperity and hardship, success and failure, joy and sorrow all work together to give us good results and give greater glory to God. will be We need to know this and rely on it. (1) God is extremely good. No matter what the process is, the end is always good. (2) God is love. (3) God is omnipotent. Therefore, as long as we believe and depend on God, God will work together for good through everything we do. Therefore, I hope you will keep the faith to be thankful even in the midst of tribulation.
