Title: Stay Alive

Bible text: Ezekiel 16:3-8
stay alive
There are surprisingly many lives that I think I would not be able to live if I became low-key. But when I get to such a situation, I live too. Because they have a survival instinct. There is an instinct to live somehow. Do you know what the man who had his legs cut off and survived woke up and said something? He said, “It would have been a big deal.” I lost all my legs, but compared to dying, I think it's a good luck out of misfortune.
Why do people have to live? Why do you have to go through such a hard life? We have to live because we were born. I wasn't born because I wanted to be born. No one became a man because he wanted to be a man, and no one became a woman because he wanted to be a woman. I was born regardless of my doctor. Even if it is difficult, you have to live. You have to live until the day your life comes to an end.
Stay alive even if you are covered in blood. This is the command of God, the Lord of life.
Even if the root is bad, stay alive
“…Thus saith the Lord concerning Jerusalem: Your origin and land are Canaan, your father an Amorite, and your mother a Hittite” (verse 3) Do you know what the word Canaan means? Canaan was the son of Noah's son Ham. Among the sons of Noah, the cursed son was Ham, and the son of Ham was Canaan. It was said, “...your mother is a Hittite”, and Heddo is also a descendant of Canaan (Genesis 10:15). Both father and mother are the descendants of the cursed one. Even if the root is bad, do not die, but live.
During the 6.25 riot, Korea was overrun with orphans who lost their parents. A girl named Bok-soon Lee, who was adopted to the United States in 1957, was mentally disabled due to a fever. He was adopted in the United States and became a single mother at the age of 25. He gave birth to a child but was unable to raise him, so his adoptive parents raised a grandson. The mother of the child cannot speak properly. My grandfather liked music when he came home from farm work, so he put on classical music and listened to it, and the little boy also liked it. My grandfather bought me a violin, and the child showed musical talent.
When he grew up, he studied with a full graduate scholarship for the first time in the history of the Juilliard School of Music, and was awarded the world's most prestigious Avery Fisher Carrier Grand Prize. He is the violist Richard Yongiae O'neill.
“Do not be afraid, you scumbag Jacob, you men of Israel, saith the LORD, I will help you; your Redeemer is the Holy One of Israel” (Isaiah 41:14).
Now the First Lady, wife of the President of the United States, Michelle Obama was a slave up to his great-grandmother. Michelle was a child of a poor family. I grew up in a single room. However, I had a dream and worked hard to make it come true. If other people studied for 7 hours, he studied 3 times more than everyone else. No matter what difficulties, the direction did not waver. Michelle graduated from Princeton University and received a JD from Harvard University. The good thing about America is that black people can be first lady. Obama said during his presidential campaign that he married a black man with slave blood.
“God has chosen the lowly and despised things of the world, and the things that are not, to bring to nothing things that are, so that no flesh may boast before God” (1 Corinthians 1:28-29).
Even if you are of low status, lowly, and poor, you must live. David is not royalty. But God overcame the king and placed him on the throne. He brought the shepherds out of the sheepfolds and made them the shepherds of Israel. Light is also darkness. Light was born out of darkness.
In the book of Ephesians, God says that although human beings were “by nature children of wrath” (Ephesians 2:3), “he seated them together in Christ Jesus, that the exceeding riches of his grace might be revealed in today’s generations” (Ephesians 2:2,5). -7) The fundamentals are not under my jurisdiction. Stay alive even if you are bloody!
Even if you are abandoned, live
“In the day you were born, your body was considered lowly, and you were abandoned in the field” (verse 5). They threw it away without washing it or sprinkling it with salt to make it clean. Still, God sees the bloody feet and tells them to stay alive even if they are bloody.
Joseph was sold by his brothers, but God did not forsake him. “The Lord was with Joseph, and he prospered” (Genesis 39:2). Joseph became prime minister of Egypt. He wore linen cloth and rode a chariot comparable to that of Egypt (Genesis 41:41-43).
Hagar and Ishmael are abandoned children. But the country was founded by the abandoned child.
Sarai expelled Ishmael because she saw Ishmael as a competitor to Isaac. On the pretext that Ishmael had harassed Isaac, she obtained the consent of her husband and cast out the mother and child. But Ishmael met a better God than his father in the wilderness.
God heard the cry of the abandoned child. “Do not be afraid, Hagar, for God has heard the voice of your son; arise, raise the child, and take hold of your hand, and I will make him into a great nation” (Genesis 21:9-20). I received the blessing of having a son and forming a great nation (Genesis 25:13-15)
Moses was also an abandoned child when he was born and infancy. In order to contain the terrifyingly prosperous Hebrew population, the king of Egypt ordered that male children be abandoned as soon as they were born. Moses hid it for three months, and when he could no longer hide it, he put it in a reed carton and floated it in the water of the Nile River. How would his mother feel as she watched the baby drifting down the river? However, God had the princess rescue the abandoned child from the water and raised him as a leader by learning the science of Egypt, which boasted the best civilization at the time. He grew up and became the leader of the Exodus.
“The stone that the builders rejected has become the cornerstone, and this is because of the Lord, and it is marvelous in our eyes” (Matthew 21:42).
Opportunities spring from crisis. Being abandoned, self-regulation is nurtured. Because they were abandoned, God took them and raised them. During the 6.25 war, while shells were falling from all directions, very few people became seriously ill. The human body has a superhuman ability to overcome crises. Abandoned and bloody, live!
Stay alive even if you are naked
“...You have grown great, and you are exceedingly beautiful, you have full breasts, and your hair has grown, but you are still naked” (verse 7). To be naked means to be poor, and to expose shame. Do you give up your life because you are poor? Do you quit your life when the shame is revealed? To be naked is to have no clothes on. Wearing clothes hides the shame.
You cannot die because of financial hardship. You cannot give up your life just because your self-esteem is hurt. Even if my shameful guilt is exposed, I have to live.
South Korea is stigmatized as the world's largest suicide country. In 2005 alone, more than 14,000 people committed suicide. The most common motives for suicide are pessimism and pessimism. Seeing the sorrow of the people reaching the climax in former President Roh's commemorative letter, I admire the fierce life he lived, but it's sad that he committed suicide. It is the spirit of death that causes a person to die. We need prayers to lift the cloud of suicide.
A man came to Jesus and said, “Lord, have mercy on my son! This child fell both in fire and in water, and I asked your disciples to cast them out, but they were unable to do it.” Jesus said to him, “Unbelieving generation, how long I am with you and how long will I be patient with you.” He rebuked the unclean spirit by telling him to bring him.
The demon went out and he was healed from that time. Later the disciples asked quietly. “Why couldn’t we cast out the demon?” “It is because your faith is small. I tell you the truth, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, it will move this mountain and nothing will be impossible for you” (Matthew 17:15-21). to jump into the water. The spirit of death.
Jesus said to Peter, “Get behind me, Satan! You are a stumbling block to me.” Anyone who makes you fall must be defeated. If I don't defeat him, I fall. Judas Iscariot was one of Jesus' twelve disciples. The devil made Judas Iscariot commit suicide.
In life, we are humiliated and faced difficulties. You will suffer from injustice, but you have to be patient. We must live until God calls us.
In the United States there is a 30-year-old dwarf named Shaw Stevenson, who is only 90 cm tall and weighs 20 kg. He suffered from a rare disease called "osteogenesis imperfecta," in which bones break as easily as eggshells, making it difficult to sustain his life. Nevertheless, I have published my second book, and I am currently studying for my PhD.
As he was called to give a lecture, he said, “I have embraced my life, overcoming the desire for self-destruction and self-destruction. Recognizing and understanding differences is the most powerful weapon to change lives.”
He is said to have kept the words he heard from his mother when he was ten years old. “Your illness can be a burden in your life, or it can be a gift of blessing.” The mother helped her son not to fall into self-pity. It helped me to boldly give up on what I couldn't do and focus on what I could do.
“The appearance of a 90cm dwarf only accounts for 2% of my description. I'm a big gamer beyond my abilities,” Stevenson said.
Stay alive even if you are bloody! Even if your roots are low, stay alive! Even though you are forsaken, live. Even if you are naked, if you are alive, He says, “I cover you with my clothes and cover the shame of your nakedness, and you are mine” (verse 8). We must be alive no matter what our circumstances. That is the will of God who gave life. Please ask for the life-giving Spirit, the Holy Spirit.
