From the parable of the fig tree in the text, it became clear that the second coming of the Lord was now imminent. As the national flower of Israel, the fig, seems to have died during the winter, when spring comes, the branches soften, restore vitality, and begin to sprout, as you can see that a lush summer is near. After over 2,000 years of winter silence, independence finally began to sprout in 1948, miraculously welcoming the spring of complete independence of Israel, the country of the fig tree. When you see the spring energy of Israel slowly ripening, you should know that the summer of the Second Coming is nearing the threshold.
In today's text, the Lord warns us. When the sign of the fig tree appears, you know that the Lord's Second Coming is imminent, and He tells them to be careful and watch.

1. Reasons to be awake 1) We must always be awake because we do not know exactly when the Lord will return.
2) Since the Lord said that He would come suddenly, we must always be awake.
3) As the temptation of the devil becomes more severe, we must always be alert and be vigilant.
In particular, when the Second Coming of the Lord is imminent, the devil will realize that his time is not far away, and will be all over the place to overthrow the chosen saints. is.
2. How to stay awake 1) You must stand firm on the Word and stay awake.
2) You must always be awake in prayer.
3) You must be awake by being faithful to the mission (evangelism) and duties (everything you do in the world).
