Title: Stay in Jerusalem. /Acts 1:1-5
I. Meaning of Acts
As you know, Paul and Luke had a very special relationship, and it is true that Luke gives the impression of being an apostolic testament to his superior authority, Paul's apostleship. It is based on a very peculiar structure of the book of Acts. In other words, through the comparison and contrast of Peter and Paul, the main characters of chapters 1 to 9, the composition is repeated. When Peter raises the dead, Paul causes similar events later, and when Peter raises the lame, Paul defends Paul through a similar structure. Despite some of these structural difficulties, the book of Acts teaches us the example of faith and wisdom we need most. It is a magnificent place of history where the two apostles and the great elders of faith who were at the center of the active volcano of the great gospel ministry appeared.
The book of Acts depicts the growth of the church from the ascension of Jesus Christ to the stage of growth. In other words, it serves as an exquisite bridge between the Gospels and the Epistles. If you look at the epistles and interpret the book of Acts without reading it, this is really kimbap without pickled radish. Squid bowl without squid. It's no different than looking at a tree without looking at the forest. The book of Acts, the core of the gospel and the catalyst for growth, is now approaching us. Let us listen to our Acts. Let's think about what kind of life and what kind of faith God's people had with God on their backs. God wants to speak to us today through the book of Acts.
II. wait.
I have brothers and sisters who are struggling right now. Why don't you talk to him like that. Let's keep quiet and trust in God and hope only in God. Don't tell us to do it. It means to be quiet. No one can predict God's work. I hope that we can encourage each other, give each other courage, and wait before God. Don't be discouraged by yourself and say why you can't do this, and don't sleep quietly. God will work in silence. I pray that there will be silence and the glory of God in the youth club like the morning dew.
