Title: Staying in the heart (Ephesians 3:14)
what stays in mind
Ephesians 3:14-19
Folks, we often argue. I grumble about what makes my opinion right and other people's opinions wrong. There are times when I can't believe my eyes and my heart. I always have to act with meekness, because sometimes my judgment and my knowledge are even more unbelievable. How important is it to guard your heart? If you do whatever comes to your mind, as you see fit, you will get sick and perish. And I'm sorry, but it's no use.
In addition, it is said that the state of mind and mental state formed in human relationships is closely related to longevity. Social isolation is the cause, if you look at the results of those who die before reaching the end of their average age. So, I am a lonely person. People who lack friendship because they feel socially marginalized or because they don't need them because they don't have many friends; orphans or single mothers We found that there are many causes such as people who have In a word, it is a study that the problem of loneliness and mental emptiness in human relationships is the cause of premature death.
What I realize while looking at these series of results is that how one manages one's mind is more important than the environment in terms of the quality of life. That is why I have to repeat the words of the Bible, but Proverbs 4:23 says, “More than anything else, guard your heart, for it is the wellspring of life.” Now, what can we do to guard our hearts? In order to manage your mind, you need to keep in mind two main points of view.
First, you need to take good care of what comes into your mind from the outside. In particular, this starts with listening. What you listen to and what sounds enter your mind is the starting point for managing your mind. Dr. [Dorothy Rittalak] of the United States studied how music affects plants for two years. He said that he kept playing Satan's music or rock music, and the tomatoes were flattened, the pumpkins were wrinkled, and the corn was bent. However, the plant that gave the waltz and serenade was that it bore fruit and grew well. Plants are like this, too, so what kind of sound you listen to is important to manage people's minds.
Second, what comes out of the heart? People see others according to their own thoughts and act according to their thoughts. If you don't have it in your heart, you can't see or hear anything. We are all sitting together and listening to the sermon right now, but depending on where your heart is, you may hear it or you may not hear it, or you may hear it this way, you may hear it that way, you may realize it this way or you may realize it the opposite way. This is what my mind thinks. But here's the problem. The problem is that it's not easy for me to control my mind. Words that should not go out will go out. Behaviors that shouldn't be sent out suddenly pop up and cause accidents. Seriously, did the Bible say in Proverbs chapter 16, “He who rules his heart is better than he who takes a city”? That's right. The question is mind control, can I control my mind? (Mind control by my self is impossible) This is important. Oddly enough, good thoughts and good hearts, even if we try to preserve them for a long time, will wither at some point, and it is human beings to quickly become angry and regret without realizing it.
Who can rule my heart now? Who will save me from such a tilted heart? In the Garden of Gethsemane, when the disciples who were supposed to be awake and pray were asleep, Jesus said these words: “The heart is willing, but the flesh is weak.” It is a word of mercy and compassion. But let's take this fact seriously. How can you sleep if your heart really wants it? If you had a really longing heart, would you fall asleep because Jesus was going to die on the cross tomorrow morning? I can't sleep even if I lose a few pennies. I can't sleep even when I get a bad phone call. I'm worried because the Lord is going to die tomorrow. But they slept. I couldn't wake up and pray. Then Jesus said, “The heart is willing, but the flesh is weak.” I think this was a judgment full of mercy and compassion.
Dear saints!
What is your mental health index? My mind cannot do what I want. Consecrate it to the Lord and confirm the love of the cross through the work of Christ in the Holy Spirit. If you are healthy, you can confirm your love according to your health, and if you are sick, you can confirm the Lord's love as you become sick. If your heart is with the Lord, there is nothing other than love. When that heart is filled with love and full of grace, life itself becomes precious and the world looks beautiful. May you live a life where Jesus Christ is always located where your heart dwells.
