Title: Strive to Become Complete Faith

Contents

Strive for perfect faith 2 Peter 1:5-7

In order to become a faith that pleases God, we must add many virtues to our faith.

At this time, we would like to share grace with the title of “Strive to become perfect faith. When our Lord was in the world, no matter who he was, he praised his faith whenever he met someone with good faith. Whether the person is a Jew or a Gentile, young and old. Regardless of the rich or poor, he always recognized good faith, praised him, and made his wish come true. Faith is the virtue that pleases G. It is because faith can accomplish great things and become great people as well as salvation. Therefore, there is nothing in the world to envy, but faith alone should be envied.

So what kind of belief is the great perfect faith? It is good to have faith, but it must be faith that adds precious things to faith. A golden crown is precious, but it is more precious when it is encrusted with jewels. So, the Bible introduces all kinds of shining jewels that must be put into the crown of faith.

So what should we add to our faith?

1. We must add discipline to our faith.

1) Practice of godliness is necessary. 1 Timothy 4:7-8 says, “Abandon false and false myths, and practice only godliness. Physical exercise has some benefit, but godliness is beneficial for all things, having promise in this life and in the life to come.” You should not be satisfied with what you believe, but train hard to serve G. If you do not put effort into this training, you should know that G is making you do it even through hardship. That is why 1 Peter 1:7 says, “The trial of your faith, more precious than gold that perishes, even though it is tried by fire, may be found to be praise, glory, and honor at the appearing of J X.”

When you mine for gold in a mine, it is initially full of impurities. However, by passing through the hot furnace several times, the impurities are removed and it becomes pure gold. Likewise, our faith may be half God and half the world at first, but through the process of refinement, it becomes pure faith that believes only in J, loves only G, and follows only the truth. And he makes us a person of zeal who cannot live without J and a person of loyalty who fulfills his mission. This is because in the midst of suffering, we realize our mistakes and repent.

2) Through refinement, we learn the heart of humility, gentleness, patience, and self-control. Therefore, G gives refinement to those who love. The tuition of faith is very expensive. When it is time for college students to register, they offer a godmother to lower their tuition, but nothing is as expensive as the tuition of our faith. Because sometimes it beats that precious health, sometimes it beats a lot of wealth, and sometimes it beats even more precious things. How expensive was the tuition Job paid for Job's teaching of faith? You even hit the health of your children. When Israel sinned, He had to pay tuition for war, famine, and disease. Because trust is so precious. Therefore, when you are suffering, do not just ask to be withdrawn from suffering, but repent sincerely and have true faith.

The most blessed people are those who obey before they are tried. When it comes to children's education, there are children who obey only by beating the rod, and there are children who obey just by saying something. What kind of child do you want to be? The Bible tells us to be obedient children. It is said that a drop of sweat in training camp is like a drop of blood in battle. If we obey God that much and live according to His Word, He will give us peace and blessings both physically and spiritually. Therefore, if you truly believe in God, you should train yourself as a person of true faith by adding refinement to your faith.

2. We must add virtue to our faith.

1) We must cast away resentment and complaints. Grieving and complaining do not build virtue. The heart of resentment and complaining does not come from faith, but from unbelief. It is a big obstacle that disintegrates the community. The Israelites grumbled and complained in the wilderness and were judged by G. Complaining and resentment do not end with one person, but like a plague, they destroy the souls of others as well. Those who give up grumbling and complaining build up the church.

2) A person who overflows with thanksgiving and praise builds virtue. Colossians 2:6-7 says, “Therefore, since you have received X J as Lord, walk in him, rooted and built up in him, standing firm in the faith as you were taught, abounding in thanksgiving.” When we live in gratitude and praise to G every day, G pours out the grace of the Holy Spirit abundantly on that faith to edify us.

That is why Philippians 4:6-7 says, “Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to G, and the peace of G, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds in XJ.” I did. When we give thanks and sing praises like this, God pours out the Holy Spirit and overflows with boundless peace. Add thanks and praise to your faith. He pours out peace that cannot be tasted in the world.

Even people around the world say that if you smile, you will be blessed. Even those who have not received blessings say that happiness comes if they smile, but if we who have received all kinds of blessings in Jesus frown, how can we receive blessings? When we think of the blessings we have received in J, we cannot help but give thanks and praise each day. Gratitude and praise are the confession of faith with the lips, leading to complete salvation and happiness.

3. We must add knowledge and works to our faith.

1) Faith must be based on the knowledge of the truth. Belief that is covered up is superstition. The believer's faith must be a faith rooted in the word of truth. That belief is a sound faith, and it can be a faith that pleases G. In Acts 8, when Philip preached the gospel in Samaria, many miracles occurred and many people believed. At that time, Simon the magician also believed and was baptized. Peter and John came from Jerusalem to assist. I will give you money while watching the miracles that happen through them, so I asked that if I lay my hands on them, they would be able to exercise such powers. Peter rebuked him, saying, "Destroy with money." He misunderstood faith and misunderstood the gift of the Holy Spirit because he did not have the right knowledge of the Word.

2) Faith based on the knowledge of the truth must lead to action. James 2:14 says, “My brethren, what profit is it if a person says he has faith and has no works? can faith save him?” It says to add works to faith. Works here do not refer to works of the law, but works according to faith.

Just as trusting a bank allows you to trust your belongings with confidence, faith comes with works. But if you say you believe and you can't trust it, you don't believe it. Faith is always accompanied by works. If faith is not accompanied by works, such faith is itself a dead faith.

James said that even demons believe in G and tremble. But demons believe in G, but do not obey and do not exalt G. deeds do not follow. Faith must be followed by works. If you believe in G, you must do well in church life and follow a life that corresponds to your faith, such as community service, loyalty, devotion, offering, prayer, evangelism, truth, forgiveness, brotherly friendship, and love.

4. We must add love to our faith.

1) Faith that works through love is precious. In 1 Corinthians 13, the faith that moves mountains is nothing without love. Add the labor of love to your faith. Do your best for those who suffer in the world. Keep your neighbors in your heart and pray. Pray with your country and nation.

1 John 4:7-8 says, “Love is of G, and everyone who loves is born of G and knows G, and he who does not love does not know G, because G is love.” When you love, you experience the presence of G. G is with those who love G and love their neighbors. When we add love to our faith, we become perfect with the divine nature.

2) When we add love to our faith, we become courageous saints. Love dispels all fear. boldly. Hebrews 10:35-39, "Therefore, do not lose your courage, for this is a great reward - but my righteous one will live by faith, and if he goes back, my heart has no pleasure in him." not those who fall into sin, but those who have faith to the saving of souls.”

G uses people of bold faith greatly. If you have the courage of faith, you can achieve great miracles. The Red Sea parted, the sun and the moon ceased, Jericho fell, and the enemy conquered the enemy, he did great deeds, and he raised the dead.

How bold were Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego? They did not bow down to idols even in the furnace of fire. So he was able to subdue the wicked Nebuchadnezzar before G. How bold was Daniel? I prayed to G, knowing that if I prayed, I would be thrown into the lions' den. That's why G wrote him high. How courageous was Esther, who said that if I die, I will die? Because of that, we were able to save the nation in crisis. All the people who did great things in history had the courage of faith.

No matter how healthy you are, you cannot do great things with your weakness that you are not prepared for even small difficulties. Or, a person who earns money but can't spend it because he is afraid of a single penny is a person who can't do anything. G chooses people who have faith to do great things. That is why 1 Corinthians 16:13 says, “Be awake, stand firm in the faith, and be strong like a man.” I feel like I become masculine when I receive grace. When you receive grace, a man becomes a real man, and a woman becomes as strong as a man. become a warrior. Become a great worker of faith. 1 Peter 3:6 says that even Sarah was not surprised by any fear.

Dear saints, Our Jesus lived a life that pleased the Father all his life. We, too, should be able to please God through faith. When we all add refinement to our faith, we add virtue to our faith, we add knowledge and works to our faith, we add our love to our faith, so that we can all become full faith and become victors of faith that please and glorify G. Let's all move forward with complete faith.
