Title: Strong Shield/ Isaiah 8:1 -10

Contents Bible Reading: Isaiah 8:1 -10

Subject: Strong Shield

The purpose of the shield is to protect yourself from enemy attacks. No matter how good a shield looks, it will not be a good weapon if it cannot block the enemy's arrows and weapons.

We, the saints, living in a world where the evil one lives, need a strong shield because we are surrounded by those who oppose us.

1. You must not trust this world.

There are two unjust reasons we trust the world, one is that the world is fundamentally

It is that we are in Satan, and the other is that the traces of this world are coming to an end.

Everything you see is not worth trusting because it doesn't last forever.

Therefore, we believers must completely trust in God alone.

This world and its lusts pass away, but he who does the will of the Lord abides forever.

2. We must cast away disobedience and unbelief.

Disobedience and faith in God is the most important thing that protects us from all the enemies of this world.

It's a safe shield.

The reason Israel had to go through countless hardships was because they threw away this shield and foolishly

Because they chose things that could not protect them.

Disbelief and disobedience come with punishment, but with faith and praise comes kindness and reward.

Law.

3. The sovereignty of the state is absolute.

Any country or any people, the Lord can move them as He pleases.

No one can deny this. God's sovereignty is absolute.

Knowing that you are the only Lord who can work whatever your heart desires

Let us make every effort to live a perfect life by following the perfect will of the Lord.

Those whom the Lord keeps are safe forever. Immanuel!

Romans 8:31 If God is for us, who can be against us?
