Worship success is life success
(John 4:21-24)
So, what should we do to be successful in worship?
1. You must thoroughly prepare before worship.
It is said that even people like Karajan, a world-famous conductor, practice and prepare thousands of times for a 2-3 hour performance on stage. That's how you practice and put that song on stage. That's why people are moved when they hear it. In this way, worship must also be prepared. We must prepare through prayer. We must pray for those who preach the word for worship and to receive grace from the word. And your mind must be ready. If you have hatred, envy, or anger, you must repent and purify your heart before you can worship properly. In particular, the heart to love the Lord must be prepared.
2. The object of worship must be clear/v. 21.
The object of worship is God. I shouldn't be the center. Therefore, it should not be given with my mood, emotion, or condition, nor should it be given as something good for me. First, worship God. It must be a warship. When we worship and glorify God, God's blessings come automatically. Worship should be offered to God who is the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. The object of worship is only God.
3. We must worship in spirit and truth / Verses 23-24.
Worship is about giving, not seeing. Ebay must be offered in spirit and truth. To give in spirit means to give spiritually. Songs, prayers, the Word, and offerings must all be spiritual. In order to do that, the worshiper must become a man of the Holy Spirit / Ephesians 5:18. And to truly give is to give with the truthful word. The characteristics of worship offered in spirit and truth are fervent passion and emotion. Worship must have passion and emotion. And with this emotion, we must go out into the world and live the life of a worshiper. That is, it should be the worship of life.
Organize your words. Worship success is life success. Because worship is an encounter with God, and God gives blessings through worship. To succeed in worship, we must prepare through prayer, prepare with our hearts, and worship in spirit and truth.
