1. God makes us perfect through suffering. (10) At first, after believing in Jesus, you lack wisdom, you lack discernment, you lack love and patience. In order to enter eternal glory, you must cast away impurities and fill in the missing parts.
What we must throw away is the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, the pride of life, envy, jealousy, grumbling, resentment, distrust, and hatred, but love and forgiveness, peace and patience, meekness and humility. must be filled with the Lord.
These are the qualifications for those who live in the kingdom of God. Only through suffering can a person realize, throw away, cut off, and have spiritual things. " He Himself made perfect you who have suffered . "
2. God strengthens us and makes us unshakable through suffering.(10) “Strengthen” and natural iron is called wrought iron. It goes in and out of the fire several times, goes into water and hardens when hammered. While you believe in Jesus and live your life of faith, your faith is strengthened through the life of the church. Pure faith is good, but it requires training to endure despite many tribulations and injustices.
Those who have fought many good fights as cross soldiers are strong and courageous.
Growing up without suffering since I was a child, there was a case where a young deacon committed suicide because of a conflict within the church in a church where there was a lot of fighting. Terrible suffering has strengthened me.
3. He strengthens the foundation. (10) The foundation is the foundation. If the foundation is not strong, it is easy to collapse even if a house is built on it. So no matter how urgent it is, make sure you have a solid foundation. Blessed are the saints who suffer hardships as soon as they believe in Jesus.
God gives us refinement from the beginning in order to build beauty on the foundation of that faith. God's love. So the saints can rejoice even in tribulation.
4. True grace (12) I must have a firm faith that my current circumstances are within the grace of God. You have a terrible disease. Rather than living healthy and wealthy, and then falling into hell and suffering eternally in the fire of hell, life is ruined and the body becomes sick and dies. So, come before God, believe in Jesus, be saved, receive eternal life, and go to heaven forever with God in a house adorned with golden jewels. It is a true grace to live.
