Everyone is born once and dies once.
Therefore, death itself is something that everyone should accept.
That is why the Bible says, "It is appointed for man to die once, and after that comes judgment" (Hebrews 9:27). There is no difference between death itself and suicide, but in terms of the person left behind and the person watching, the meaning is shockingly great.
The fact that anyone chooses the extreme method of suicide is not that I am excluded.
No one knows that the extreme method of suicide is irrelevant to me.
It is a situation that anyone should think about at least once when an extreme, permissive, or unbearable situation arises.
According to the ‘Statistics Results on Causes of Death in 2003’ published by the National Statistical Office, 4.4% of the 245,817 deaths in Korea last year and 19,932 of them died by suicide.
No one can cry free from this suicidal monster.
A pastor who preaches Jesus, a monk who teaches the Way, a doctor with about ten doctoral degrees, a tycoon with hundreds of billions of dollars, this terrifying monster of suicide cannot move. This monster arrives at a decisive moment one day and paralyzes human thoughts, intellect, paralyzes power, and turns sacrifices into pieces of paper.
According to the above statistics, 6 people commit suicide every day.
Who can give us true rest, peace, joy in life, hope, freedom from death in this messy and sinful world?
Only the gospel of Jesus can give us hope even in our miserable moments,
Even if only the power of Jesus reaches the human limit of suicide, he will hold onto the hem of the gospel of Jesus at the final limit of death and gain the hope of living again.
He comes out with well-prepared speaking skills and illustrations that can be found in 5 minutes on the Internet, trying to impress the church members, and has a funny story that can be found on the Internet in five minutes. To make it even funnier, they even do comedy shows and one-men shows. You may think that sermons are fun and enjoyable to listen to right now, but do you know how difficult and precious time in your life is when you are preaching now? ,I want to spend even a little bit with my children, but I don't have the time. I can't afford to sit down and have a cup of coffee with my beloved wife, but why do I have to sit there at that time?
Can the Gospel of Jesus really help in a difficult time of my life?
Does the gospel of Jesus make me laugh in front of people I hate to death? Can you smile and say hello to the person sitting next to me eating my money? Now my husband likes a woman other than me, what should I do with him?
Now my wife likes a man other than me, what should I do with him, my children are now playing at the scene of the derailment, what should I do?
The business is not going well right now, so I have to close the door and close the bank, but how do I live after that?
