Title: Take a Trace/Galatians 6:17
Take a trace of the content / Galatians 6:17
Key Verse: “Let no one afflict me from this point on, for I bear the marks of Jesus on my body” (Galatians 6:17).
They are talking about why they forsook the foundation of their faith, why they are going the wrong way, and why they have been changed only through the gospel.
The book of Galatians was written with the intention that we should now have our shape and place properly, even if we have to go through the trouble of giving birth again. And in the last part of the conclusion, he confesses: “No one can bother me now. no one can give me any trouble Because I have the marks of Jesus on my body.”
The word ‘trace’ is ‘stigma’ in Greek. Stigma, as we know it, is the very ‘seal’ that puts a brand on beasts to indicate who owns them. It is said that the stamp of Jesus was 'banged'. If all of us in our family have the stamp of “Jesus,” it means that no one can interfere, harass, or give difficulties to us.
What traces are you living with now? Is it a sign of the world or a sign of failure? If you can't dream of a new future because you are caught up in the traces of the past that hold your ankles, how amazing and frustrating would it be?
Once we are stamped with Jesus, we will become the protagonists of the ability to be unshaken and unaffected by anything after we have a life sealed by Jesus. Please realize the precious fact that your home is a home that has the seal of Jesus and the traces of Jesus are clearly visible.
Prayer: Our family is not afraid at all because the traces of Jesus, Lord of life, remain among us. Let us become a family that lives by the power of Jesus. I pray in Jesus name. Amen.
