Title: Take the Steps of Faith

Contents

No one knows the future of man.

There are happy and prosperous days, and there are difficult and sad days. - Don't worry about the future.

Ecclesiastes 7:14 Rejoice in the days of prosperity, and think in the days of trouble: For God has put these two things together, so that man cannot fathom the future, so that he does not know it.

John 2 - A happy and good day at the wedding banquet A problem arose, so water-wine

John 4 - The king's servant's son became ill. Sad and troubled.

There are always problems in the happy and sad days in our lives.

46 When Jesus came back to Cana of Galilee, where water had been made into wine, there was a king's servant, and his son was ill in Capernaum; Emphasize the place where water was made into wine.

Where there was joy and where there was a problem and it was solved.

But again there was a problem.

Let's take time to share grace by finding a way to solve all the problems in life when we face them.

-. Take a step in faith.

Court official of the king's servant (Herod Antipas, tetrarch of Galilee and Berea)

Although he was in a high-ranking position, he could not cope with his son's illness.

You may have visited a doctor or hospital.

Capernaum - The distance from Ghana is about 34 km. About 8-10 hours on foot. Because he is a servant of the king, even if there is a horse, it is about 2-3 hours away

Forgetting his identity and distance, he heard the news of Jesus and went straight to Jesus.

Anyone can come to Jesus.

Chapter 4 The Samaritan Woman - Jesus met a woman who came to draw water in the middle of the day while avoiding everyone.

The king's servants also heard that Jesus was coming from Judea to Galilee.

A child is almost dead, and there is nothing a parent cannot do.

He must have tried to save his son by all means and methods.

But in the end, the fact that they heard the rumors of Jesus and moved to Jesus.

In life's joys and sorrows, we must turn to Jesus.

Regardless of your status, status, circumstances, or distance, you must turn to Jesus.

It doesn't matter whoever

Matthew 11:28 Come to me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.

Anyone who is toiling and carrying the heavy burden of life, whatever the circumstances

The first thing we need to do is to turn to Jesus.

We call it faith.

steps of faith.

-. Don't give up.

46. When he heard that Jesus was coming to Galilee from Judea, he went and begged him to come down and heal my son. He was almost dead.

47. Jesus said, Unless you see signs and wonders, you will never believe.

48. The servant said, "Lord, come down before my child dies."

49. Jesus said to him, “Go, your son is alive.” The man believed what Jesus had said and went away.

Heal my son, the king's servant who visited Jesus.

(Matthew 8:5-13 The centurion's servant is paralyzed. Luke 7:1-10 The centurion's beloved servant is ill.)

But Jesus replies that unless they see signs and wonders, they will never believe.

But the servants do not give up. Lord, come down before my child dies.

The fact that he went to Jesus did not give up and kept his faith.

From now on, I want to completely trust and trust Jesus.

If it wasn't for Jesus, I could go to another person, a hospital, or another prophet, but that wasn't the case.

It's about holding on to Jesus alone.

He saw the faith of a servant of Jesus. And you say

58. Jesus said to him, “Go, your son is alive.” The man believed what Jesus had said and went away.

The king's servant did not confirm the son's condition (though he could not confirm it), but believed the words of Jesus and went.

There is one more piece of evidence that the subject showed complete faith.

On the way home, he meets the servants. Then the servants say that the child lived.

When I asked when he began to heal, yesterday, at the seventh hour (evening time), the fever was gone.

So where did this gentleman spend the night?

Greg Laurie - You probably believed what Jesus said and continued to listen to what Jesus said.

(If you came on horseback as a servant of the king) Or you could walk home all night long...

It means that you firmly believed in the words of Jesus and completely trusted Jesus, the Lord of life.

Jesus turned water into wine.

The Lord, who showed wonderful signs and wonders,

It is a fact that the king's servants had the certainty that he would save even the life of his dying son.

We must never give up.

-. spread of faith.

John 2 The wedding feast John 2:11 Jesus performed these first signs in Cana of Galilee and showed his glory, and the disciples believed in him.

John 4 The King's Servant Healed the Son 53. The father knew that it was at the time when Jesus said that your son was alive, and he and all his household believed.

What they have in common - the fact that they believed in Jesus, and the disciples believed in him, and the whole family of the subject believed in him.

When they saw, heard, and preached the words, signs, and wonders that Jesus had spoken, others would have heard, seen, and believed.

Romans 10:13-15 Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved. 14 How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? How shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? How shall they hear without a preacher? How can they preach? As it is written, Beautiful are the feet of them that bring good news.

They would have been able to believe because they shared their faith and had fellowship together.

We need to go out to a place where we can share, fellowship, and spread the faith.

So fellowship is important.

Fellowship with God, fellowship with people (neighbors).

Let's move our steps in life to Jesus.

Let's not give up our faith and keep it until the end.

Let's share the faith, spread the word, and join the feast of joy.
